Fig. 1 zeigt eine nach dem beschriebenen

EMI1.1
The subject of the present invention is a method and a device for the production of wrought-iron, drawn, seamless axle bushes, in which the bush, the wedges and the butt shetbo consist of a single piece of material. The method according to the present invention consists in that, after the conical widening of the axle bushing, a local widening of the lateral surface of the axle bushing takes place by means of mandrels provided with transverse wedges, whereby the wedges preventing rotation of the inserted axle bushing are formed. Part of the axle bushing is then compressed to form the shock ring.
In the drawing, an axle bushing produced according to the present method is shown partially in section in FIG. 1, while FIGS. 2 and 3 show the for the production of the Kei! e dionenden thorns illustrated.
The hollow body, which is used to manufacture the axle bushing, is first widened conically in a die (casting chuck). After it has been annealed again, the wedge is first pulled forward (locally expanded) at the corresponding point on the inner wall with the aid of the mandrel a (FIG. 2). For this purpose, the mandrel a has transverse wedges b. Using the second mandrel c shown in FIG. 3, the local widenings are completely pressed out in accordance with the inner shape of the axle box wedges. This is done by means of the transverse wedges d carried by the mandrel c and the die, which is provided at the corresponding point with recesses corresponding to the external shape of the axle box wedges.
Fig. 1 shows one after the described
Axle bushing e produced by the method with the wedges f, which are obtained through the widening g worked into the outer surface from the inside. The shock ring h is formed from the extension of the hollow body extending beyond the wedges f by upsetting the same. The axle bushing produced in this way, provided with wedges and shock ring, has the advantage over the already known axle bushings that all parts of the same are made of homogeneous material, namely from one piece, so that the individual parts no longer separate or become loose as before can. In addition, the process for producing such axle bushes is very simple and ensures a product that perfectly meets all practical requirements.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for the production of axle bushes provided with external wedges, characterized in that after the conical widening of the axle bushing, a local widening of the lateral surface of the axle bushing takes place from the inside by driving in thorns provided with transverse wedges, whereupon part of the axial bushing to form the thrust ring is carried out axially is crushed.
