Das Bestreben, die Naturgase nach der bei Gasen'bekannten Methode durch Anwendung von Druck und Kälte allein zu verflüssigen, scheitert praktisch an den hohen Kosten einer solchen Verflüssigung.
Die vorliegende Erfindung basiert auf der Eigenschaft der leichten, flüchtigen Kohlenwasserstoffe, sich von den schweren, flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoffen in grosser Menge, wenn auch schwer absorbieren, nach erfolgter Lösung aber mit grosser Kraft festhalten zu lassen. Im Sinne dieses Verfahrens wird hier auch noch ein inniger Kontakt, der komprimierten Gase mit flüssigem Benzin herbeigeführt, welches letztere aus dem Gemenge verschiedener Kohlenwasserstoffe, dem Naturgase, die leichter konden & ierbaren Bestandteile anzieht und festhält, die permanenten
Gase dagegen frei abziehen lässt.
