<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>

The invention relates to a carrying device for bottles which are provided with a collar in the region of their neck, in particular for plastic bottles.
Various types of plastic crates are used to transport bottles, which hold about 6 to 12 bottles. Since such bottles, in particular plastic bottles, have contents of up to 1.5 liters for food and beverages, the boxes are difficult to carry. In addition, the transport of beverage crates is not only tedious due to their great weight, but also over long distances without a car.
This is particularly a problem in large cities and metropolitan areas. However, people who do not need drinks in these quantities are reluctant to buy more than three individual bottles due to their lower consumption. Such bottles would then have to be transported in bags or bags.
The invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a carrying device with which individual bottles or a limited number of bottles can also be easily transported.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a carrying device for bottles which are provided with a collar in the region of their neck, in particular for bottles made of plastic, comprising a support plate which has at least one opening which extends through its thickness and which extends to at least one peripheral surface of the The support plate is open and serves to hold the neck of a bottle, and at least one handle connected to the support plate is released.
It is advantageous that the carrying device is space-saving and can be easily carried in any pocket, for example also in the jacket or coat pocket. The handle makes transportation much easier. The bottles themselves are held securely on their neck using the collar. Since the components can be made of plastic, it is a relatively light and inexpensive product. It is preferably provided that up to three bottles can be accommodated, because then even bottles with a content of 1.5 liters are weights that are easily portable.
In an embodiment of the invention it is provided that the support plate is rectangular and the peripheral surface from which the openings originate is shown by a first side surface of the support plate.
It is preferably provided that the support plate and the handle formed thereon are made of plastic and are connected by a hinge, in particular a film hinge.
When the support plate and the molded handle are made of plastic, it is possible to form the connection between the two in a simple manner as a film hinge by providing a corresponding reduction in cross section

becomes.
Alternatively, it is possible to design the support plate, which can be designed to be relatively thin, as a polygon, the side surfaces of which form the peripheral surface from which the openings for receiving the bottle necks originate.
As a further alternative, it is provided that the support plate is circular, so that its outer peripheral surface forms the peripheral surface from which the openings originate. For a polygon, the triangular shape has proven to be expedient because the openings can each be arranged in the area in which two side surfaces abut each other.
Finally, it is provided to provide the support plate with a central bore, the wall surface of which represents the peripheral surface from which the openings originate. The outer contour can also be approximated to a triangle, the edges of which are rounded. The openings emerging from the bore can protrude into the regions in which the edges of the outer circumference run towards one another.
To ensure a secure hold, it is possible to open the openings. to make the respective peripheral surface smaller than the remaining area of the associated opening. This results in a frictional connection. If a plastic design is used, the neck of the bottle can be easily pressed in by elastically widening the opening area of the openings. Instead of such a configuration or in addition to this, it is possible to provide the openings in a partial area with a depression which receives the collar of the bottle neck and thus guides the bottle safely.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
In order to achieve a space-saving design, provision is also made for the support plate to be formed in several parts and for the parts to be connected to one another by hinges. For designs in which a handle for carrying cannot easily be integrally formed on the support plate, it is provided that the handle or handles are connected to the support plate by a traction means. For example, a cord or a plastic cord can be used. In addition, the traction device can be used to secure the bottles by forming a loop below the support plate, which can be placed around the collar. This makes it possible to ensure that the bottles are pushed or pulled into the openings.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are shown schematically in the drawing.
1 shows a first embodiment of a
Carrying device for three bottles, which can be folded up, FIG. 2 shows the carrying device according to FIG. 1 in the folded state, FIG. 3 shows the carrying device according to FIG. 1 with three assigned bottles, FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment, in which the carrying plate and the Handle are integrally formed, Figure 5 shows a third embodiment in which the openings for receiving the bottle necks from one

6, the carrying device according to FIG. 5 with the assignment of three bottles, FIG. 7 a third embodiment in which the carrying element has a triangular basic shape and the openings start from the corners, and FIG. 8 shows the carrying device according to FIG 7 with the assignment of three bottles.
From Figures 1 to 3, the first embodiment of a carrying device with a support plate 1 can be seen, which is composed of three sections la, Ib, lc and which together represent a rectangular basic shape. The two sections 1b and 1c are hinged to section la by means of hinges 3.
It can be seen that the support plate 1 has a small thickness in relation to its length and width. Starting from its first side surface 2, it has openings 4 which extend through its thickness. In the area of the first side surface 2, the opening width 5 of the openings 4 is dimensioned smaller than in the area behind it. Furthermore, a depression 6 is provided around a partial area of the openings 4. The handle 7 for hand grip is connected to the section la of the support plate 1.
From Figure 2, the two sections lb and lc are shown folded on the section la, so that the carrying device can be conveniently accommodated in a pocket.
The carrying device in use can be seen from FIG. There are three bottles 8 assigned to it, the necks 9 in the
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
Breakthroughs 4 are introduced. Since the bottles have collars, they engage in the depressions 6, so that they are held securely when the handle 7 is gripped and when carried.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, a continuous d. H. one-piece support plate 101 is provided, which also has the openings 104 distributed, the opening width 105 of the first side surface 102 is dimensioned smaller than the area behind it, i. H. the region of the openings 104 which is distant from the first side surface 102. The handle 107 is connected to the first side surface 102 from which the openings 104 originate by means of webs. If the support plate 101 is skewed under the weight of the bottles hanging thereon, there is a slight skewing, but this leads to the bottles being held securely in the openings 104.
The handle 107, the webs 10 and the support plate 101 are preferably made in one piece from plastic.
It is also possible to arrange a further handle 107 by means of webs 10 on the second side surface running parallel to the first side surface 102 and to connect the webs 10 to the side surfaces 102, for example via film hinges.
FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment of a carrying device with a support plate 201, which in principle is designed as a polygon (in the present case a triangle) with rounded edges in plan view, so that an outer contour 12 results. A bore runs through the support plate 201, from whose circumferential wall surface in the area towards the corners of the triangle the openings 204 extend.
Two handles 207 are connected to the support plate 201 by means of traction means 13, for example molded-on thin plastic cords. But it can also be normal cords,
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
which are passed through holes in the support plate 201 from above and are knotted at the bottom.
FIG. 6 shows the carrying device according to FIG. 5 in use. Three bottles 208 are assigned to this. It can also be seen that a collar 14 formed on the bottles 208 rests on the upper side of the support plate 201. The bottles 208 are inserted with their neck into the openings 204, starting from the bore 11.
FIGS. 7 and 8 finally show a third embodiment, it being evident in FIG. 7 that the support plate 301 has a triangular basic shape with the side faces 15. The openings 304 are provided at the corners with which two side surfaces 15 would abut each other. These can have depressions for receiving the collars of the bottles 308. The design can be such that the openings 304 wrap around the bottles in the region of their neck at an angle that is greater than 180. The insertion can be done by deforming the edges.
Alternatively or in addition, the handle 307, which is preferably provided with cords 313 integrally formed thereon, can be designed such that the area of the cords 313 which is guided through a central bore in the support plate 301 forms a loop 16. The loop 16 can be designed such that the support plate 301 cannot detach from the cords 313. The loop 16 can also be used to be placed around the bottle necks, so that they pull the bottles 308 into the openings 304 when a lifting force is exerted on the handle 307.
