   Für manche optische Instrumente, besonders   für Mikroskope,   ist es wichtig, grosse Lichtmengen in den Tubus gelangen zu lassen, einerseits um die Helligkeit des   Instrumentes   zu steigern, andrerseits um Interferenz- und Beugungsercheinungen abzuschwächen oder unwirksam zu machen. 



     Dabes ist   insbesondere darauf Wert zu legen, dass der Brechungsindex nD   möglichst
