<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Die Weiterentwicklung gegenüber bisherigen Excenter-Teleskopmechanismen: Die bestehende Vorspannung des Klemmringes (11) - diese wird bei der Fertigung durch eine leichte Überdimensionierung des Ringes, der anschliessend auf der dünnsten Stelle (11a) aufgeschnitten/aufgeschlitzt wird, erreicht - gegen die Innenwand des dickeren Bodenrohres (1) in der Nullstellung (=gelöster Teleskopmechanismus) erlaubt einerseits in Nullstellung eine problemlose Längenverstellung der Rohre, verhindert andrerseits ein Mitdrehen des Ringes (11) mit dem Excenterteil (10) beim anfänglichen Gegeneinanderdrehen der Rohre, erfordert also keine zusätzliche Fixierungs- Mitnehme- oder Anschlagsvorrichtung für den Klemmring, weil der Ring durch seine Vorspannung auf der Innenwand leicht angepresst wird;

The technical field: mechanics The technical task: the invention of a practical multi-function mount for every walk-in terrain, which offers maximum flexibility in its use, which with its use in sports technology (two-arm use) withstands high forces transversely to the longitudinal direction and is stowed in a space-saving manner can. A reliable telescope mechanism needs a fast d. H. allow instantaneous longitudinal adjustment from about 90 cm to about 160 cm. The functioning of the mechanism must be ensured even with smooth plastic pipe inner walls. The ground contact part must be adapted to the specific sports use. The sports equipment may have only minimal weight.
The invention: A multifunctional mine instep, which allows its use as an effective climbing aid in any terrain due to its technical features in conjunction with a differentiated application technology based on biomechanical considerations. A robust lightweight design, a special telescopic quick release, a special ground contact part and a specially designed knob (with and without loop) ensure universal use. Accessories make it multifunctional.
In the documents US 2002/0089148 and US 5,769,104 A fixable telescopic poles are shown, which are equipped with an eccentric. The document US 5 758 808 shows a mechanism by means of which a loop can be fastened to a stick.
The actual description: The Multifunktionsbergeinstock (Fig. 1) consists of two telescoping tubes (1) (2), which are made of fiberglass and carbon fiber. Plastic knob (6) (Fig. 1) and bottom part (Fig.1), consisting of plastic transition part (3) and ground contact part (4), form the end points of the stick. The eccentric part (10) is adhesively bonded to the end of the inner tube and has a clamping ring designed with the same eccentricity.
Dimensions: outer tube or bottom tube (1): length 80 cm, outer diameter 29 mm, wall thickness 1 mm; Inner tube or top tube (2): length 80 cm, outer diameter 24 mm, wall thickness 1.3 mm; End of the stick with knob 3 cm long; lower end with slightly conical plastic transition part made of hard plastic 3.3 cm long, with screw-on domed Vulkollan disk 4.5 cm in diameter, thickness 1.5 cm; Floor: about 92.2 cm; Floor: length about 161.5cm; Tube overlap with extended stick: cm (eccentric with clamping surfaces (10a) and (10b) provides an additional 2.5 cm overlap); the stated mass can be slightly changed depending on the weight and size of the user.
The bottom part (Figures 1 and 2) on the outer tube (1) consists of a slightly conical plastic transition part (3) which is glued on the inner wall of the bottom tube end (1). The bottom contact part (4), a cambered triple grooved Vullkolan disc with a pronounced bead and cast-in screw head (5a) can be screwed onto the plastic transition part (3) by means of screw (5) without tools and partially countersunk. The full application or tight pressing of (4) to (3) is achieved by a minimal bevel towards the center in the edge region of (3) and by sinking the ground contact part into the plastic transition part. An easy replacement of the ground contact part (4) - a wear part - is also possible without tools.
At the other end of the outer tube (1) is on the inner wall, a plastic sleeve (9) (Fig.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Detail B and Fig. 2) glued (inner diameter 24.1 mm, length 7 cm), which acts on the one hand as a stop for the clamping surface body of clamping surface (10b) at maximum length adjustment, thus preventing a complete disassembly of both tubes and on the other hand as a guide for the thinner inner tube (2) is used.
The knob (6) (Figures 1 and 2) is glued to the inner wall end of the inner tube (2). It is provided in the longitudinal direction with an air compensation hole (8), which has a metal screw thread in the knob area, which allows screwing on the accessories (fork attachment for rifle rest, special screw for camera attachment). The hand strap - another accessory - is fixed with a Velcro tape on the outside of the knob. The Velcro fastener tape is sewn into the end of the loop at a right angle and encloses the loop with the pommel neck (6a) over the knob head (6) (see picture of attachment of the loop on the pommel).
The telescopic mechanism (Figure 2): an eccentric member (10) bonded to the inner tube end (2) has 2 centered clamping surface bodies with the clamping surfaces (10a) (10b) providing a minimum clearance (10d) (Figure 1 detail B) to the inner wall have the outer tube and intervening slotted in the thinner area clamping ring (11) (Fig.1u.Fig.2) with eccentric bore. The ring is loosely mounted by a minimal play to the eccentric axis (10c) and to the adjacent clamping surface bodies in zero position and is in the zero position against the eccentric axis (10c), he has a slight bias against the outer tube inner wall (1).
By a Achtelgegenverdrehung (clockwise or counterclockwise) both tubes and thus the Excenters (10c) against the outer tube (1) both clamping surfaces (10a) (10b) and opposite the clamping ring (11) in a quick process to the inner wall of the bottom tube (1 ), the two tubes are thus fixed against each other.
The further development over previous eccentric telescopic mechanisms: The existing bias of the clamping ring (11) - this is in the production by a slight oversizing of the ring, which is then cut / slit on the thinnest point (11a) reached - against the inner wall of the thicker Bottom tube (1) in the zero position (= dissolved telescopic mechanism) allows one hand in zero position easy length adjustment of the pipes, on the other hand prevents turning of the ring (11) with the eccentric part (10) during initial rotation of the tubes against each other, thus requiring no additional fixing Mitnehme - Or stop device for the clamping ring, because the ring is slightly pressed by its bias on the inner wall;
the material of the clamping ring (Vullkolan, 92 Shore) despite the smooth surface of the pipe inner wall prevents slippage or co-rotation thereof with the eccentric in the final phase of the fixing process. The material properties of the clamping ring (11) also allows easy opening of the fixation - important for handling by women or children - and ensures a permanent fixation even after bumps or shocks to which the mountain floor is constantly exposed. The counter-twisting of the tubes by 45 degrees (= eighths of a turn) can be done in both directions of rotation, so takes into account left and right handed consideration. The eccentric (10) is perforated longitudinally (12) to allow air pressure equalization in the length adjustment.
Accessories: Hand strap with Velcro and fork attachment for rifle rest (see photo material), special screw for camera attachment (screw with 2 different thread pitches) Materials used: carbon fiberglass (1) (2), hard plastic (3) (6), polypropylene or polyethylene (10 ), Vullkolan (4) (11), metal (5) (7), plastic fiber.
