<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Fig. 5 dargestellt.
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

The invention relates to a mold for producing manhole bases made of concrete or similar material in the top-bottom position with a molded jacket and a molded core, a channel shaped body arranged on the molded core for the formation of a channel and with socket mold inserts for the molding of at least one inlet opening and at least a drain opening in the wall of the manhole base, which are arranged on the channel shaped body on its surfaces facing away from the mold core, the mold core for shaping the bottom of the manhole bottom part to be produced has a hemispherical or spherical cap-shaped area, and wherein the channel shaped body has two side wall parts which are used for Lead form core out, and which are connected in the position of use by a wall part above.
Manhole bases are a component of manholes that are structures for an underground drainage channel or an underground sewage pipe. Shafts are used in particular for ventilation, control, maintenance and cleaning and, if necessary, the inclusion of systems, for the lifting of waste water, merging, as well as for changing the direction, inclination and cross-section of channels. The manholes are made up of prefabricated parts with a socket, the lowest part being a manhole bottom part. The manhole bottom parts consist of a base plate, a channel, and at the ends thereof an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The channel has a slight slope from the inlet to the outlet to prevent standing water in the Gennne even when there is little water.
There are manhole bases with straight gennne and manhole bases, in which the inlet and outlet are not diametrically opposed to each other, but are offset from one another, so that there is an angled or curved channel.
For the manufacture of manhole bases, molds are used which have a molded jacket and a cylindrical mandrel accommodated in it, sleeve inserts being arranged between the mandrel and the molded jacket to form the inlet and the outlet. Furthermore, an underlay is provided in order to produce a stepped formation on the free upper edge in the position of use of the lower shaft part, via which the lower shaft part can be connected to the shaft ring lying thereon.
In the case of these molds, the cavity between the mold jacket and the mold core is poured out with wet or earth-moist concrete and, if necessary, shaken. After the concrete part has hardened, the form is removed and the flume is concreted in by hand after the raw manhole base has been turned over.
It has also been proposed to attach a channel shaped body to a shortened cylindrical mandrel on the flat cover surface thereof and to provide a second nominal shaped body rotatably. By rotating the second channel shaped body, manhole bases can also be produced that have diametrically opposed inlets and outlets. The disadvantage of this known embodiment (manufacturer H. Niemeyer Söhne GmbH & Co KG in Hörstel (FRG)) is that manhole bases made with this known shape in the area of the cylindrical support for the movable molded molded article have to be subsequently filled with concrete, for which purpose a channel must be shuttered and concreted.
One form of the type mentioned at the outset is known from US Pat. No. 5,413,307. In US Pat. No. 5,413,307 A, the mandrel has an upper end that is curved approximately in the shape of a spherical cap, but is otherwise cylindrical in shape. Furthermore, in the form according to US Pat. No. 5,413,307 A, a single shaped body is provided for the channel, which is exclusively in the region of the curved end of the
Form core is arranged. Since the molded body in US Pat. No. 5,413,307 A is welded to the mandrel, there is no possibility in US Pat. No. 5,413,307 A to use one and the same mandrel for straight as well as for angled or curved channels. For this purpose, separate mold cores, as are shown, for example, in FIGS. 7 and 8 of US Pat. No. 5,413,307 A, are required.
The invention has for its object to avoid the subsequent concreting of channels and to avoid the replacement of the channel bodies required in the prior art as far as possible.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a shape of the type mentioned at the outset in that the mandrel holds one in the position of use of the shape on the haibkugei or. The spherical region in the shape of a truncated cone, which adjoins at the bottom and widens towards the bottom, has that the channel shaped body for forming the channel consists of at least two channel shaped bodies, with their side wall parts both on the hemispherical or spherical spherical zone area and on frustoconical region of the mold core, and that the uppermost generators of the channel shaped bodies in the position of use of the mold, which connect the bottom regions of the channel to one another, in the region of the upper end of the hemisphere or
spherical cap
Area of the mandrel are arranged.
The invention provides a form for producing manhole bases in which the Gennne does not have to be concreted afterwards.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that an essentially cylindrical section of the mandrel connects to the larger diameter end of the mandrel, with an annular connecting part arranged between the mandrel and the essentially cylindrical section being inclined to the axis of the mandrel.
With this embodiment, a manhole bottom part can be produced, the upper end of which, in the position of use, is shaped particularly favorably for connecting further manhole parts, for example of manhole rings.
According to a proposal of the invention, it can be provided that the sleeve-shaped inserts are movable, in particular pivotable, relative to the shaped channel bodies. With this embodiment of the shape according to the invention, the socket form inserts can be aligned in the respectively favorable position.
The exchange of the socket mold inserts is particularly simple if, according to a proposal of the invention, the socket mold inserts are detachably attached to the channel shaped bodies. It is preferred if the socket form seats are attached to the channel shaped bodies by a plug connection.
If it is provided according to a proposal of the invention that the side wall parts of the channel shape

there is a particularly streamlined shape of the channel.
In one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the channel shaped bodies in plan view, i. H. are curved when viewed from above in the position of use of the mold. With this embodiment, manhole bases can be produced whose channels are not straight but curved.
If the channel is to be formed straight in the lower manhole part produced with the shape according to the invention, an embodiment is preferred in which it is provided that the channel body in plan view, i. H. are just formed in the position of use of the form seen from above.
A preferred embodiment of the shape according to the invention is characterized in that the position of the shaped channel bodies relative to one another can be changed. With this embodiment, manhole bases

is arranged. In this embodiment, it is preferred that one channel shaped body is arranged in a stationary manner and the other channel shaped body is arranged to be movable. A further development of this embodiment can be provided according to a proposal of the invention. that the movable channel shaped body abuts and is guided on the annular intermediate part connecting the conical section of the mandrel with the substantially cylindrical section thereof.
The fixing of the movable shaped body is particularly easy if it is provided according to the invention that a curved slot is provided in the intermediate part, which is penetrated by retaining screws for the movable shaped channel body. To prevent undesirable leakage of material from which the lower manhole part is produced with the shape according to the invention. To prevent by the curved slot, it can be provided according to a proposal of the invention that 88111ich the channel shaped body lying on the ring surface abrasive plates with partial circular ring shape are arranged. cover the areas of the slot that are not covered by the channel molding.
In one embodiment of the mold according to the invention, it is provided that the end walls of the channel shaped bodies facing away from the mold core are aligned parallel to the axis of the mold core. In this way, the possibility is opened in a simple manner of producing manhole bases, the side walls of which are aligned parallel to the axis of the manhole base in the region of the channel shaped bodies.
Adapting the shape according to the invention to different manhole bases is particularly easy if it is provided that the structure is divided at least once. It is preferred if the upper hemispherical or chain-shaped section on the lower frustoconical section of the mandrel is arranged interchangeably and / or rotatably. In this embodiment of the form according to the invention, it is preferred to use dan. at least one channel shaped body is attached to the upper part of the mandrel and can be adjusted, in particular pivoted, with the other channel shaped body. In this way, the position of the shaped molded bodies relative to one another can be set particularly easily.
In order to secure the position of the channel shaped bodies with respect to one another in the position once selected, it can be provided according to a proposal of the invention that a clamping device is provided for fixing the upper section of the mandrel at the lower section thereof. It is preferred that the tensioning device is a tensioning screw, a tensioning cylinder, an electromagnetic tensioning anchor or the like. There is also the possibility within the scope of the invention that motor drives are provided for the relative rotation of the sections of the mandrel. It is preferred that the motor drive is a rack and pinion drive, a pressure medium motor, or the like.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
With the mold according to the invention, it is advantageous if the mold core is divided twice. This extends the options for adapting the shape to the design of the manhole base.
If the mandrel of the mold according to the invention is subdivided at least once, it is preferred within the scope of the invention that the lower part of the conical section of the mandrel is connected to the substantially cylindrical section, that one channel shaped body at the central section and the other at the upper section the channel shaped body is arranged.
In the form according to the invention, the channel shaped bodies can be fastened to the mold core by plug connections or by a welded connection. The former variant is preferred if the channel shaped bodies are to be exchangeable.
If manhole bases which have more than one inlet opening or outlet opening are to be produced with the mold according to the invention, it is provided according to a proposal of the invention that more than two, preferably three channel shaped bodies are arranged on the mold core.
If, according to a further proposal of the invention, it is provided that the upper end faces of the channel shaped body facing the bottom of the manhole base to be produced are inclined to the axis of the mandrel in accordance with the slope of the channel in the manhole bottom part to be produced, the gradient of the Gennnes required in the manhole bottom part is achieved without reworking.
In order to be able to adapt the position of the socket form inserts to the circumstances, it is provided according to a proposal of the invention that the surfaces of the channel shaped bodies facing the socket form inserts are spherical or spherical cap-shaped and that the connecting pieces of the socket form inserts are designed in opposite directions, so that the socket inserts are movable in the manner of a ball joint in relation to the Gennneformkörper.

The wall 3 of the lower shaft part 1 has at its upper free edge a design 10 corresponding to the spigot end of the sleeve and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, is of simple design, so that a shaft ring designed with a corresponding counter step can be securely placed against slipping sideways.
A known form for producing manhole bases 1 shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 has one
Sheath 11, a cylindrical mandrel 12 with wall 13 and cover 14, wherein in the cover 14 of the
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Mold core 12 may optionally be provided with a ventilation device 15 to facilitate the demolding work. Turning bolts 16 are fastened to the shaped jacket 11, so that the shape can be rotated about the axis 17 defined by the turning bolts (lower shaft parts are concreted in the top-top position, that is to say in such a way that the base plate 2 points upward). To form the tip end of the sleeve on the free edge of the wall 3 of the lower shaft part 1, a washer ring 18 is provided.
The socket inserts 19 are arranged with the aid of retaining strips 20 at the points at which the inlet opening 5 and the outlet opening 6 are to be located in the finished manhole base 1.
Shaft lower parts 1 produced with the molds shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 do not yet have a channel 9 which only has to be produced subsequently. For this purpose, the channel 9 must be shuttered and concreted. This is not only time-consuming, but also results in a non-monolithic design of the lower shaft part 1.
8 to 10 show a known mold core 12 which is designed as a cylinder jacket with a cover 14. A channel shaped body 21 is firmly welded to the cover 14 of the mandrel 12. A second channel shaped body 22 is fastened to a cylindrical channel shaped body carrier 23 which is rotatably mounted on the cover 14 of the mandrel 12. After loosening the clamping screw, the channel shaped body 24 attached to the cylindrical support 23 can be adjusted so that straight and angled channel 9 can be produced with the aid of the known mold core 12 (manufacturer: Niemeyer Sons & Co. KG).
However, it is also necessary in this embodiment to subsequently concrete out the space initially occupied by the cylindrical channel body support 23, for which purpose a channel has to be formed and filled with concrete. This saves no working time and creates a non-monolithic manhole base1.
A mold 30 shown in FIG. 11 with the mold core 31 according to the invention has a molded casing 32, at the lower end of which the support ring 18 for the formation of the pointed end of the sleeve is arranged on the free edge of the wall of the manhole base. Provided within the molding jacket 32 is the molding core 31, which tapers conically upwards and in the exemplary embodiment shown ends in a spherical cap-shaped tip 33. The upper end of the mandrel 31 can also be hemispherical. On the jacket 34 of the mandrel 31, two channel shaped bodies 35 are arranged, which carry outwardly facing socket mold inserts 19.
The transition between the conical section 34 of the mandrel 31 and the lower substantially cylindrical part 36 is formed by an annular intermediate part 37 which is inclined to the axis 38 of the mold 30, so that in the finished manhole bottom part produced using the mold 30 The shoulder results, the surface of which slopes downwards from the outside inwards, so that water flowing down from above can flow into the center of the lower shaft part 1 (detail X in FIG. 11).
FIG. 12 shows the mandrel 31 in plan view with its conical part 34 and the two channel shaped bodies 35 with the socket shaped inserts 19. The shape of the channel shaped body 35 can be seen from the sectional view of FIG. 13.
The channel shaped body 35 can as in Ag. 11 indicated, be formed inclined at its upper portion to the axis 38 so that the channel defined by it has a slope from the inlet opening to the outlet opening in.
If the channel shaped bodies 35 are removably arranged on the mold core 31, they can be replaced by differently shaped channel shaped bodies 35, so that different channel diameters or shapes can be produced.
In one embodiment, more than two channel shaped bodies 35 can be arranged on the mandrel 31 if a manhole bottom part with an inlet opening and two or three outlet openings is to be produced.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 14, the socket mold inserts 19 are removably arranged on the channel shaped body 35. In this case, a plug-in connection 40 is preferred, which allows the mandrel 31 including the channel shaped bodies 35 to be pulled out of the manhole base as soon as possible after the manufacturing process, the socket body members 19 remaining in the still bottom manhole part and serving as a support. This mode of operation and embodiment is particularly preferred when manhole bases are made of earth-moist concrete.
The mold core 31 can have a vent valve in particular in its upper end in order to facilitate the demolding process.
FIG. 15 shows an embodiment of a mold core 31 according to the invention which has a conical section 34 which has been divided once. The arrangement is such that one of the channel shaped bodies 35 is fastened to the lower section 41 of the conical part 34, which is formed with the substantially cylindrical part 36, preferably in one piece, whereas the second shaped body 35 is fastened to the upper, rotatable section 42 . In this way, the angle between the
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
Both channel shaped bodies 35 can be changed when manhole bases are to be produced in which the inlet opening is not diametrically opposite the outlet opening.
FIG. 16 shows a preferred embodiment of the design of the mandrel 31 shown in FIG. 15. In the embodiment of a mandrel 31 according to the invention shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, the mandrel 31 consists of two parts, an upper part 42 and a lower part 41, the plates 44, 45 which are provided in the region of the dividing plane 43 abut one another. The parts 41 and 42 of the mold core 31 can be rotated relative to one another about an axis 46 which runs vertically from top to bottom through the mold core 31. For this purpose, a screw nut 47 is provided on the plate 45 of the upper part 42. A screw bolt is inserted through a central bore in the base plate of the mandrel 31 and is screwed into the nut 47.
When the screw bolt is tightened, the upper part 42 and lower part 41 of the mandrel 31 from FIGS. 15 and 16 are fixed to one another, so that a once-set relative position of the two channel shaped bodies 35 is fixed. After loosening the screw bolt, the upper part 42 and lower part 41 and thus the channel shaped body 35 attached to it can be rotated relative to one another, so that the mandrel 31 can also be used for the production of lower shaft parts with a diametrically opposed inlet opening and outlet opening.
17 to 19 show in different views and in detail a further embodiment of a mold core 31 according to the invention, which is subdivided once. It can be seen from the illustration in FIG. 17 that a frustoconical section as the lower part 41 of the mold core 31 and a spherical cap-shaped section as the upper part 42 of the mold core 31 are fastened to the essentially cylindrical section 36 of the mold core 31. The right channel shaped body 35 in FIG. 17 is rigidly connected to the lower part 41 of the mandrel 31 via a connecting piece 50. The channel channel body 35 on the left in FIG. 17 is connected to the rotatable upper part 42 of the mold core 31 and is guided so as to rest on the connecting part 37.
As the detail of FIG. 19 and the top view of FIG. 18 show, an arcuate slot 51 is provided in the intermediate part 37 of the mandrel 31, through which screw bolts are inserted, which are screwed into nuts 52 which are attached to a base plate 53 of the channel shaped body 35 are. In order to cover the sections of the arcuate slot 51 lying laterally next to the lower end of the channel shaped body 35, a curved grinding plate 54 is connected to the channel shaped body 35, which abuts on the intermediate part 37, protrudes on both sides from the lower end of the channel shaped body 35 and (cf. 18) covers the areas of the slot 51 which are not below the channel shaped body 35, so that concrete cannot escape there.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 17 to 19, nuts 56 are fastened on substantially vertical walls 55 of the internal molded body. Nuts 56 can be fastened in the screws for fastening socket shape inserts 19 to form the inlet and outlet openings.
FIG. 20 again shows a once-divided mold core 31 and its assignment to the mold jacket 32, a socket mold insert 19 being fastened to the channel mold body 35.
The subdivision of the mandrel 31 into at least two parts (lower part, upper part) allows differently shaped upper parts to be placed on one and the same lower part in order to meet the respective existing requirements for the shape of the manhole lower part to be produced.
FIG. 21 shows an embodiment of the mandrel 31 according to the invention in which it is subdivided twice. A central tensioning screw 60 is provided to tighten the individual parts (lower part 41,
The central part 61, upper part 42) of the mold core 31, after these and the internal mold bodies 35 carried by them have been adjusted to the corresponding position (see FIG. 22), are to be fixed to one another. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 21, the one, left channel shaped body 35 with the upper part 42 of the
Mold core 31 and the nominal molded body 35 on the right in FIG. 21 are connected to the central part 61 of the mold core 31 by a welded connection.
FIG. 23 shows the individual parts of the mandrel shown in FIG. 21 in an exploded view.
In principle, it is also possible to subdivide the mold core according to the invention more than twice, as shown in FIG. 24. The lower part 41 is not rigidly connected to the cylindrical part 36 of the mandrel 31.
24 also shows that pneumatic or hydraulic clamping devices 70 can also be provided for locking the individual parts 36, 41, 61, 42 of the mandrel 31 to one another. In the exemplary embodiment shown, a pressure medium cylinder 71 is provided, the piston rod 72 of which is tensioned after the desired relative position of the channel shaped bodies 35 with respect to one another, so that the individual parts of the mold core 31 are fixed to one another in a non-rotatable manner.
Instead of the pressure medium (pneumatic) cylinder for fixing rotatable mold core parts to one another, a tensioning device 70 actuated by an electromagnet can also be provided.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
The adjustment of the individual parts of a divided mold core 31 does not have to be carried out by hand; electromotive drives (pinion-rack drives 74, as indicated in FIG. 25 on the left or pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders 75. as indicated in FIG. 25 on the right) can also be used for this purpose. be provided.
If motor drives are provided for rotating the parts of mold cores 31, a control can be provided which drives move the channel shaped bodies 35 into the respectively required position in accordance with a predetermined relative position between the inlet opening and the outlet opening.
The channel shaped bodies 35 can be curved (in plan view) if a curved channel formation is desired, as is shown in FIG. 5.
If the mold core 31 according to the invention is subdivided at least once, it is possible to use parts without a channel shaped body instead of the parts equipped with channel shaped bodies 35 if this is necessary due to the manhole base to be produced. In particular, this can be provided, for example, in the embodiment of FIG. 24, where all three parts 41, 61, 42 of the mandrel 31 can be provided with channel shaped bodies 35 or only two or only one of them with channel shaped bodies.
A hemispherical or dome-shaped shape can be selected for the free ends of the channel shaped bodies 35, on which the sleeve shaped inserts 19 or the sleeve bodies attached to the sleeve shaped inserts 19 are provided, so that. if the socket connection pieces are shaped in the same way, there is a mobility of the socket shape inserts 19 relative to the channel shaped body 35 corresponding to a ball joint. In this case, it is useful to form the lateral end toward the shaped jacket 32 using appropriately adapted mirrors made of sheet metal, wood or the like. An adjustment of the socket mold inserts 19 with respect to the channel shaped bodies 35 is thus possible by a few degrees.
An exemplary embodiment for sleeve form inserts 19 movably attached to channel shaped bodies 35 is shown in FIGS. 27 and 28. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 27 and 28, dome-shaped holding plates 90 are fastened to the externally facing surfaces of the channel shaped body 35 via tubular intermediate pieces 91. A nut screw 92 is inserted through a hole in the middle of the holding plates 90. The socket mold inserts 19 carry on their end facing the channel shaped bodies 35 or the holding plates 90 fastened to them a dome-shaped counter plate 93 which is curved congruently to the holding plate 90. In the middle of the counter plate 93 of the socket mold insert 19 there is a hole 94 through which the bolt of the nut screw 92 engages with play on all sides.
After loosening the nut of the nut screw 92, the socket mold insert 19 can be pivoted in any direction within the limits predetermined by the size of the opening 94 relative to the channel shaped body 35. As soon as the socket shape insert 19 has assumed the desired position, the nut of the nut screw 92 is tightened and presses the counter plate 93 of the socket shape insert 19 against the holding plate 90 via the washer 95, so that the socket shape insert 19 is securely fixed.
The channel shaped body 35 can be welded, screwed or fastened to the k88e1Jgen or hemispherical mandrel 31 or to parts thereof or by means of a plug connection. An example of a releasable connection of channel shaped bodies to a shaped core 31 or parts 41, 61, 42 thereof is shown in FIG. 26. There, a guide shoe 80 is attached to the parts 42 and 61 of the mandrel 31, which leaves two lateral grooves 81 free, into which projections 82 engage on the edge of the channel mold inserts 35 resting on the mandrel 31, so that these can be fixed by being pushed on.
In summary, an embodiment of the invention can be represented as follows:
For the manufacture of manhole bases 1 with a jacket 3 and a base plate 2, as well as with a channel 9 connecting the inlet opening 5 and the outlet opening 6 in the region of the base plate 2, a shape is proposed which has an essentially cylindrical jacket 32 and a mold core 31 having. The mandrel 31 has a lower, in the position of use, substantially cylindrical section 36, which is arranged in the shape in the region of the washer ring 18 for forming the socket tip end of the lower shaft part 1. The cylindrical part 36 merges via a flat conical intermediate part 37 into a frustoconical section 41 of the mandrel 31.
An approximately hat-spherical section 42 adjoins the frustoconical section 41 of the mandrel 31. To form the channel 9 in the manhole base 1 to be produced, two channel shaped bodies 35 are provided on the mold core 31, on which, optionally removable, socket shape inserts 19 are arranged. A channel shaped body 35 is connected to the upper section 42 of the mandrel 31 and is supported and guided at its lower end on the intermediate part 37. The other channel shaped body 35 is connected to the truncated cone-shaped section 34 of the mandrel 31.
The upper part 42 with its channel molding 35 and the socket insert 19 can be rotated relative to the part 41 after loosening a tensioning device, so that the orientation of the channel molding 35 relative to one another can be changed. When using the mold for producing manhole bases 1 made of concrete, the channel 9 does not need
