Drahtzug angebrachten Drahtapannern.

Tensioning mechanism for double wire pulls.

The subject matter of the present invention is a tensioning mechanism for double wire pulls, by means of which the disadvantageous effects of the change in length of these wire pulls caused by temperature differences are to be eliminated.

It consists of a lever that can be moved around a fixed axis, with two double rope or chain rollers attached to it, over which the double wire pull is passed through an activated rope or chain. This lever is rotated around its axis by an adjusting device consisting of one or two screw spindles as required and can be held in any position so that the wire that has become slack due to excessive heat can be tensioned or the wire which is too tightly tensioned due to too much cold can be released .

The tensioning mechanism is shown in elevation and plan view in FIGS. 1 and 2 and shows the position of the lever (double lever) h movable about the fixed axis a at a low temperature; r and Tl are the two double rollers, s the screw spindle lllit the nut as an adjusting device.

If the wire tension becomes slack as a result of an increase in temperature, the movable arms set in motion by the same (barrier booms, signal arms, etc.) are not fully brought into the end positions. To cancel this disadvantageous effect, the wire tension must be given its normal tension again, which can be done by tightening the nut m.

At the highest temperatures that occur, the lever will reach the position kl and, with decreasing temperature and thus increasing wire tension, will gradually change from this position to that of the normal tension by releasing the screw nut
Position brought.

With this device, both wires are tensioned simultaneously and evenly; it eliminates the rather expensive regulation work with the usual for everyone
Wire pull attached wire banners.
