AT 398 609 B The invention relates to a line part! the intake or exhaust device of an internal combustion engine, consisting of a plate-shaped body which, parallel to its largest outer surface, is divided into two closely connected parts, each of which has an abutting surface leading to the outside of the intake or exhaust pipe. Flow channel continuing outlet channel have additional, preferably semi-circular in cross section, elongated recess. Depending on the type of internal combustion engine, relatively large cable lengths are required for the intake and / or exhaust device. So far, the lines consist mainly of pipes, which are often difficult to accommodate if they exceed a certain length. However, there is also a line part of the type described at the outset (DE-OS 26 23 488), in which the two tightly connected parts of the plate-shaped body consist of sheets into which the depressions are pressed, these depressions extending from one input opening into three fork parallel flow channel sections, which then reunite towards the outlet opening. However, this is a muffler in which nothing is gained in relation to the overall dimension of the plate-shaped body in the flow direction and in which the two parts of the plate-shaped body are also mirror images, but not identical. Accordingly, the object of the invention is to create a line part which, with a comparatively long line length, has small external dimensions, therefore does not present any accommodation difficulties and can be manufactured simply and reasonably cheaply. The invention achieves the stated object in that the two parts are of completely identical design and that the recess is formed as a recess which is symmetrical with respect to a plane normal to the abutment surface, with the exception of a gap between its two ends, the recess being formed Continues recess at one end in the symmetrical plane of the inlet or outlet channel leading to the largest outer surface and at its other end, gradually flattening, until shortly before this transition of the recess into the inlet or outlet channel extends. A flow channel of relatively long length is thus formed by the cutouts in the abutting surfaces of the two partial bodies, although the dimension of the line part is limited to the plate thickness in the direction of the inlet and outlet channels. A short circuit between entry and exit is impossible, since the second cutout end does not lead to the relevant channel, but runs out shortly before the cutout transitions into the channel. Since it is completely the same or the same shaped part body and the recesses or channels are shaped or arranged accordingly, the part body can be easily and therefore cheap, z. B. in the injection molding process. To obtain the finished pipe section, only two identical parts, each turned 180 ° against each other, need to be joined together. In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely FIG. 1 shows a half of a line part of the intake or exhaust device of an internal combustion engine in a view of the impact surface, FIG.
2 einen fertig zusammengesetzten Leitungsteil im Schnitt nach der Linie ll-ll der Fig. 1 und Fig.2 shows a completely assembled line section on the line II-II of FIG. 1 and FIG.
Austrittskanal (4) reicht. Hiezu 1 Blatt Zeichnungen 33 in cross section along the line III-III of FIG. 1. The line part according to the invention consists of a plate-shaped body of essentially rectangular shape which is divided into two completely identical parts 1, 1a by a plane running parallel to its largest outer surface. In their abutting surface 2, the two parts or halves 1, 1a each have an elongated recess 3 with a semicircular cross section which is closed except for an intermediate space between their ends. The recess 3 is essentially symmetrical with respect to the transverse median plane normal to the abutting surface 2, which corresponds to the section line III-III in FIG. 1, one end of which lies in a plane of symmetry leading to the largest outer surface 5 Exit channel 4 merges. The other end of the recess 3 is guided into this channel 4 until just before the recess 3 enters and gradually flattens out. If the two partial bodies 1, 1 a are placed side by side so that they face upwards with their abutting surfaces 2 and are arranged in parallel with their side surfaces, and then the two partial bodies 1, 1 a are joined together by turning the one by 180 ', so results the finished line part, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3 in section. Of course, the two partial bodies 1, 1 a must then be tightly connected to one another. 1. Pipe part of the intake or exhaust device of an internal combustion engine, consisting of a plate-shaped body which is divided parallel to its largest outer surface into two closely connected parts, each in their abutting surfaces to one in one leading outward respectively. Extending the flow channel, the flow channel has an additional, preferably cross-sectionally shaped, 2 AT 398 609 B-shaped, elongated recess, characterized in that the two parts (1, 1 a) are of completely identical design and that the recess is in relation to an abutting surface (2 ) normal plane (III-III) symmetrical recess (3) is formed except for a space between its two ends, the recess (3) being at one end in the plane of symmetry (III-III) lying, leading to the largest outer surface (5) leading and exit channel (4) and at its other end, gradually flattening until shortly before this transition of the recess (3) into the entry or exit channel (4).
