Schlüssel zum Ein-und Herausschrauben von Schraubstiften.
Das auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Werkzeug ist zum Ein-und Herausschrauben von mit Gewinde versehenen Stiften bestimmt. Es besteht aus einem zweiarmigen Hebel, an dem ein Ring angelenkt ist, welcher über den Schraubstift geschoben wird. Der eine wesentlich kürzere Arm des Hebels ist abgeflacht und am Ende mit Zähnen versehen, welche bei Drehung des Hebels den Stift fest angreifen und das Drehen desselben ermöglichen.
Die vorliegende Erfindung besteht darin, dass die tangential zur Ringöffnung verlaufende Klemmfläche senkrecht zur Hebelebene liegt und sich zu beiden Seiten dieser Achse erstreckt, damit dieselbe sowohl bei Rechts-als auch bei Linksdrehung des Hebels an dem in der Ringöffnung steckenden Bolzen angreift.
Auf der Zeichnung zeigt Fig. l den Schlüssel im Grundriss und Fig. 2 ist ein Schnitt durch den Ring und einen Teil des Hebels. Der Hebel a besteht aus der langen Handhabe und dem kürzen Teil c. Er ist an dem Ringe d mittels des eingeschraubten Zapfens e drehbar befestigt. Das Ende des Teiles c des Hebels ist abgeflacht und senkrecht zur Hebelachse, und zwar derart angeordnet, dass es, wenn der Hebel um seinen Zapfen e gedreht wird, in die Öffnung f des Ringes eintritt, was durch die Anordnung eines Schlitzes 9 im Ringe d ermöglicht wird. Der Teil c besitzt vorne Zähne h, durch welche der von dem Ring d umschlossene, mit Gewinde versehene Zapfen sich sicher fassen lässt. Der mittlere Teil der Verzahnung liegt dem Drehpunkt des Hebels am nächsten.
Letzterer ist so mit dem Ringe verbunden, dass in der Mittellage des Hebels dessen Verzahnung nicht in die Öffnung (f) des Ringes d ragt, sodass sich letzterer über den zu drehenden Schraubstift schieben lässt. Wird dagegen der Hebel a nach rechts oder links gedreht, so gelangt die Verzahnung h in die Ringöffnung, wodurch der Schraubstift wirksam gefasst wird und sich drehen lässt. Je mehr Widerstand der Schraubstift seiner Drehung entgegensetzt, desto fester wird er vom Werkzeuge angegriffen. Letzteres kann unausgesetzt gedreht werden, aber auch, wo Hindernisse dies nicht gestatten, hin und herbewegt werden.

The tool shown in the drawing is intended for screwing in and unscrewing threaded pins. It consists of a two-armed lever to which a ring is hinged, which is pushed over the screw pin. The one much shorter arm of the lever is flattened and provided with teeth at the end, which firmly grip the pin when the lever is turned and enable it to be turned.
The present invention consists in the fact that the clamping surface running tangentially to the ring opening is perpendicular to the lever plane and extends on both sides of this axis so that it engages the bolt inserted in the ring opening when the lever is turned to the right or to the left.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows the key in plan and FIG. 2 is a section through the ring and part of the lever. The lever a consists of the long handle and the short part c. It is rotatably attached to the ring d by means of the screwed-in pin e. The end of part c of the lever is flattened and perpendicular to the lever axis, in such a way that, when the lever is rotated about its pin e, it enters the opening f of the ring, which by the arrangement of a slot 9 in the ring d is made possible. The front part c has teeth h through which the threaded pin enclosed by the ring d can be securely gripped. The middle part of the toothing is closest to the pivot point of the lever.
The latter is connected to the ring in such a way that in the middle position of the lever its teeth do not protrude into the opening (f) of the ring d, so that the latter can be pushed over the screw pin to be turned. If, on the other hand, the lever a is turned to the right or left, the toothing h enters the ring opening, whereby the screw pin is effectively gripped and can be turned. The more resistance the screw pin opposes its rotation, the more firmly it is attacked by the tool. The latter can be rotated continuously, but can also be moved back and forth where obstacles do not allow it.
