The invention relates to a gas switch for a gas-heated device with a rotatable and push-in handle that actuates a spring-loaded main and pilot gas valve and an ignition device, the handle having a push-button mounted in an externally arranged rotary handle, to which an ignition contact is assigned is, and wherein the rotary handle and the push button have means such that the push button can only be pressed in a certain angular position of the rotary handle and has a radially projecting cam which presses a switching pin radially outwards when the push button is pressed, whereby this directly or via a Microswitch short-circuits an ignition contact against the force of a switch spring, the push button being able to be pressed in only in a certain angular position of the rotary handle that either the rotary handle has a recess and the push button in a region flanking the push button f have a nose that fits into the recess in terms of shape and size, or vice versa, or the rotary handle has a bore through which the switching pin must pass in order to remove a blockage of the cam. Such a gas switch designed for one-hand operation is known from the applicant's AT-PS 396.032. With this gas switch, ignition with the main gas valve open is avoided. It is disadvantageous, however, that a switching process with a leaf spring is provided to generate the ignition spark, which naturally involves a risk to operational safety and considerable noise. The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a gas switch of the type mentioned in such a way that switching noises and a reduction in operational reliability are avoided. According to the invention the object is achieved in that the push button actuates a microswitch to produce the ignition contact via a switching lever. In this way, the ignition noise is reduced compared to the known leaf spring impact ignition. Advantageous developments of the invention are shown below together with the description of the preferred embodiment of the invention with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a gas switch in a partially longitudinal section and FIG.
10 Hiezu 1 Blatt Zeichnung -3-2 this gas switch in a position rotated by 90 °. The switching mechanism of the gas switch shown in the two figures essentially consists of a rotary handle (1) and a push button (2) arranged concentrically within the rotary handle (1). The pushbutton (2) which is mounted longitudinally displaceably against the force of a return spring (3) within the rotary handle (1) can only be pressed in when the main gas valve is in the closed position, that is to say in a certain rotary position of the rotary handle (1) actuating the main gas valve. For this purpose, the rotary handle (1) is provided with a recess (S) on an annular end region flanking the push button (2). A nose (10) protruding from the cylindrical outer surface of the push button (2) fits exactly into the recess (8) in terms of shape and size. Furthermore, the cylindrical outer surface of the push button (2) is provided on its part located within the rotary handle (1) with a radially outwardly projecting cam which pushes a switching pin against a switching lever (30) when the push button (2) is pressed in. The shift lever (30) in turn actuates a microswitch (31). This is part of a battery-operated ignition circuit, so that a permanent ignition spark is generated when the push button is pressed. The nose (10) / recess (8) ignition lock means that the ignition spark can only be formed in the rotary position of the rotary handle in which the ignition gas valve (32) is opened via the valve rod (33), the gas main valve (38) is also open, but the switching valve (37) is closed. The microswitch (31) is located on the periphery of the gas switch and is encased in a separate housing (34). The housing (34) also serves to position and fix the microswitch (31) to ensure an optimal relative position between the switching lever (30) and a movable switch contact (35) of the microswitch (31). For this purpose, the housing (34) of the microswitch (31) can be provided, for example, with an elongated hole for a fastening screw (36). PATENT CLAIM Gas switch for a gas-heated device with a handle, which has a push-button mounted in an externally arranged twist grip and which actuates a spring-loaded main and pilot gas valve and an ignition device, the push-button being pushable only in a certain angular position of the twist grip and one has radially protruding cams, which presses a switching pin radially outwards when the push button is pressed, as a result of which it short-circuits an ignition contact directly or via a microswitch against the force of a switching spring, the push button being able to be pressed in only in a certain angular position of the rotary handle, that either the Rotary handle in a region flanking the -2- AT397141B push button has a recess and the push button has a nose which fits into the recess in terms of shape and size, or vice versa, or the rotary handle has a bore which de r must move through the switching pin in order to remove a blockage of the cam, according to patent no. 396.032, characterized in that the push button (2) actuates the microswitch (31) 5 via a switching lever (30) to produce the ignition contact. 10 Add 1 sheet drawing -3-
