Claims (1)

Hiezu 1 Blatt Zeichnung -2-AT 392 457 B The invention relates to a device for dispensing chlorine to a water supply, in particular to the contents of a swimming pool, with a venturi tube connected to a water circulation line equipped with a pump and connected to a chlorine dispensing device at the constriction point via a branch line. A device of this type is known from US Pat. No. 4,419,233, in which a container containing chlorine tablets is arranged in a control chamber and a liquid chamber below the water level of a swimming pool and enters the water directly from the swimming pool via special inlet openings. A pipe leads from the liquid chamber to the constriction of the Venturi. This known embodiment has the disadvantage that it has a complicated structure and the chlorine tablets are dissolved even when the circulation pump is at a standstill or there is a gravity flow of the chlorine solution to the circulation line. Devices with the addition of liquid chlorine are known from AT-PS 206.828 and US-PS 4,333,833, which basically have the disadvantage that metering or adjusting the concentration is difficult. FR-PS 2,455,566 discloses a complicated system without a Venturi tube in order to add gas generated by electrolysis to a branch water stream in a separate gas collector, which is then drawn in as a solution from the main water stream. The invention aims to provide a device of the type mentioned in the introduction, which has a structurally simple structure and automatically enables the delivery of the required amount of chlorine to the contents of a swimming pool or the like. The device according to the invention is characterized in that the chlorine delivery device is characterized by A storage tank for hydrochloric acid serving as an electrolysis tank is formed, into which a double electrode is immersed and which is connected to the power supply via a transformer, the gas space of the storage tank for hydrochloric acid being directly connected to the constriction point of the venturi tube and the circulation pump being connected in tandem with the transformer The invention thereby enables the chlorine gas generated at normal pressure to be sucked in via the venturi tube directly at the location where the gas is produced, advantageously adding the gas to the circulated water and also generating gas from the water Depending on the circulation, the transformer is connected to the water circulation pump. If the water circulation is interrupted, the chlorine gas generation also stops. The system according to the invention has a simple structure, so that it is also suitable for smaller swimming pools or the like. The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing, in which a device according to the invention is shown schematically. A venturi is provided in the water circulation line (2), which is provided with a pump (1) and a timer, of a swimming pool (S), which is only indicated (3) switched on. A branch line (4) leads from the narrowing point of the venturi and is connected to a closed storage container (5) serving as an electrolysis container for receiving hydrochloric acid. A double electrode (6) is immersed in this storage container (5) and is connected to the power supply via a transformer (7), the pump (1) being connected in the same way as the transformer (7). The gas space of the storage container (5) is as the drawing shows, directly in connection with the constriction of the Venturi tube. In operation, the chlorine gas generated in the gas chamber of the storage container (5) by electrolysis is entrained in the venturi (3) by the water flowing through it and reaches the swimming pool via the water circulation line (2) which opens out below the water level. The hydrogen generated during electrolysis is also carried away and released via the swimming pool surface. PATENT CLAIM Device for delivering chlorine to a water supply, in particular to the contents of a swimming pool, with a venturi tube connected to a water circulation line equipped with a pump, which is connected to a chlorine delivery device at the constriction point via a branch line, characterized in that the chlorine delivery device is characterized by A storage tank (5) for hydrochloric acid serving as an electrolysis tank is formed, into which a double electrode (6) is immersed, which is connected to the power supply via a transformer (7), the gas space of the storage tank (5) for hydrochloric acid directly with the constriction point of the Venturi tube (3) is connected and the circulating pump (1) is connected to the transformer (7).
