Schnurrbartbinde.
Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schnurrbartbinde, die nur in ihren Hauptteilen aus starrem bezw. steifem Material hergestellt ist, während das Mittelhand, das den eigentlichen Druck auf den Bart zu gehen hat, aus weichem, elastischem Stoffe, z. B. aus einem Gummiband besteht. Gleichzeitig ist dieses Mittelband nicht dauernd mit den Backenteilen der Binde verbunden, sondern durch Haken, Ösen, Knöpfe oder dergl. lösbar an diesen Teilen befestigt.
In der Zeichnung ist eine solche Schnurrbartbinde dargestellt, und zwar zeigt : Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht der Binde und Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf diese.
Die Schnurrbartbinde besteht aus dem ü lichen Gazestrcifen a, der an den Rändern b durch eine Seideneinfassung oder dergl. verstärkt ist. An den beiderseitigen, etwas breiteren Backen ttjiien c ist je eine Öse d durch Annähen oder sonstwie befestigt. Auf den beiden aus starrem Material bestehenden Mittelstegen e sind mittels Ösen f Führungen g befestigt, durch die ein elastisches Band, z. B. ein Gummiband h hindurchgezogen ist. Die Enden dieses Bandes sind mit Haken, Knöpfen oder dergl. Befestigungsorganen i versehen, die nach Anlegen der Binde in die oben genannten Ösen d eingehängt werden, womit bewirkt wird, dass der Druck der Binde hauptsächlich auf den Schnurrbart wirkt.
An Stelle des aus weichem, elastischem Material bestehenden Mittelbandes h kann auch ein starres Mittelband Verwendung finden, in welchem Falle die seitlichen Ösen d aus elastischem Stoff bestehen.
Durch die lösbare Anordnung des Mittelbandes wird bewirkt, dass die Binde allseitig und insbesondere auf dem Schnurrbarte bei der Benutzung aufliegt und keine hohle Lage der Binde eintreten kann, wie dies bei älteren Binden durchwegs der Fall war bei denen das starre, mit der Binde fest verbundene Mittelband infolge seiner Federung die Neigung zeigte, sich zu wölben, so dass die Mitte des Bandes sich vom Barte entfernte, anstatt einen Druck auf ihn auszuüben.

1. Schnurrbartbinde, gekennzeichnet durch ein weiches, elastisches Mittelhand (h), das in Führungen (g) der beiden Mittelstege (c) gleitet und dessen Enden durch Haken.

The mustache bandage consists of the usual gauze strip a, which is reinforced at the edges b by a silk border or the like.
