--5-- hin ablenkt.

The invention relates to a device for producing a yarn with two closely adjacent, co-rotating spinning drums, which form a suction gusset between them, and with a fiber feed device from one of the spinning drums rotating in front of the spinning drum, which can be driven in the direction of yarn twist, with a feed roller. which has a vacuumed peripheral area with a pressure body on the outlet side for deflecting a fiber strand forming the yarn core and, on the spinning drum side, axially next to this vacuumed peripheral area a blowing zone, to which a fiber guiding device leading into the area of the yarn formation line for a blown-off fiber strand connects to wind the yarn core.
Due to the axial juxtaposition of a suctioned peripheral area and a blowing zone in devices of this type, the fiber sliver fed to the spinning gusset via the feed roller is divided into two fiber strands, of which the fiber strand forming the later yarn core is positively guided into the spinning gusset on the feed roller, while the other Fiber strand is blown off the feed roller, so that its fibers flying into the spandrel are wound as sheath fibers around the fiber strand forming the yarn core, u. with a different angle of inclination from the twisting of this fiber strand.
By dividing the fiber sliver presented into two fiber strands, the advantage is achieved that only one fiber sliver has to be assumed and that a very small proportion of sheath fibers can be ensured because the fibers are divided by dividing the fiber sliver into two fiber strands and this division can be made as desired, especially if the blowing zone is preceded by a suction zone, between which and the suctioned peripheral area the fiber sliver supplied is divided into two strands before the fibers of the one strand are blown off.
In order to be able to take full advantage of these advantages, it is necessary to incorporate the fibers blown off from the feed roller evenly and without interference into the fiber strand for the yarn core and to wind this fiber strand so that the twist of the yarn core is held in place by the covering fibers. Due to the free-floating fibers introduced into the spider gusset, however, irregularities can result which cannot be completely prevented even by appropriate fiber guiding devices.
The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a device of the type described with simple means so that a uniform integration of the fibers of the blown fiber strand into the fiber structure of the yarn core and thus an effective winding around the yarn core can be ensured without impairing the yarn strength To fear irregularities.
The invention achieves the stated object in that the fiber guiding device extends at least over a longitudinal section of the yarn formation line that results along the spinning drum rotating in the spinning gusset between the pressing body and the spinning gusset.
As a result of this measure, at least a considerable part of the fibers blown off from the feed roller is attached to the fiber strand forming the yarn core in a length range in which the fiber strand is comparatively freely accessible to the yarn core before the spinning gusset, as a result of which the enveloping fibers are particularly well integrated into the fiber structure of the yarn core is achieved. Despite the incorporation of the enveloping fibers in the fiber structure of the yarn core outside the actual spinning gusset, there is sufficient twisting of the fiber strand for the yarn core because this fiber strand lies against the spinning drum rotating in the spinning gusset and is twisted by this spinning drum.
The wrapping of the yarn core with the attached casing fibers, which is initiated in the area of attachment of the casing fibers to the fiber strand of the yarn core, is then completed in the spandrel between the two spinning drums under optimal conditions, so that a yarn of high uniformity and great strength can be obtained.
In order to fix the course of the yarn formation line along the spinning drum rotating in the spinning gusset in the area between the pressing body and the spinning gusset and on the other hand to increase the screwing torque for the fiber strand forming the yarn core, the spinning drum rotating in the spinning gusset can be equipped with a suction

yarn is achieved, although only a single fiber sliver was presented.
It is decisive for the good integration of the fibers of the fiber strand --12b-- in the fiber structure of the fiber strand --12a-- that at least a considerable part of the --10-- in the area of the blowing zone is lifted off the feed roller --6-- Fibers of the fiber strand --12b-- can accumulate on the fiber strand --12a-- before entering the actual spandrel, whereby the winding of the fiber strand --12a-- initiated outside the spinning gusset --4-- with the fibers of the Fiber strand --12b-- in the area of the spinning gusset --4-- is completed. Under this condition, the most favorable conditions for the attachment of the covering fibers and for the winding of the fiber strand --12b-- with the attached covering fibers can be guaranteed.
A corresponding screwing-in effect also acts on the fiber strand --12a-- outside the spinning gusset --4--, because a spinning drum --1-- turns the spinning drum into a

To be able to increase the torque, the spinning drum rotating in the spinning gusset has a suction zone extending along the yarn formation line between the feed roller --6 and the spinning gusset - 4.
To adjust the feed speed of the fiber strands --12a, 12b-- regardless of the peripheral speed of the spinning drums - 1 and 2--, the feed roller --6-can be driven separately from the spinning drums --1 and 2--. For this purpose, the spinning drums-1 and 2-- are connected to a belt drive, not shown, while the feed roller is driven via a friction wheel -16-- indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIGS. 3 and 4.
The fiber guiding device --14--, which is designed in the form of a cylindrical hood with an end entry opening --17-- for the blown-off fiber strand --12b--, is, according to FIG. 1, at an axial distance from the feed roller --6 - arranged so that the flow conditions within the fiber guide device --14-- do not mean that the fiber strand --12a-- on the feed roller --6-- has to be disrupted. Sucking in the blown-off fiber strand --12b-- through the inlet opening --17-- of the fiber guiding device --14-- also brings about a certain concentration of the blown-off fiber strand --12b-- depending on the cross section of the inlet opening --17-- yourself.
So that contact between the blown-off fibers of the fiber strand --12b-- and the guide wall --18-- leading to the suction zone --15-- of the fiber guide device --14-- can be excluded, this guide wall --18-- an air intake slot --19-- is provided, which extends over the feed area of the fibers of the blown-off fiber strand --12b-- to the yarn core, so that the air intake slot --19-- extends to the suction zone --15-- or to the suction zone - -5-- forms an air jacket, which deflects the fibers that normally meet on the guide wall --18-- towards the suction zone --15-- or --5--.
