The invention relates to a shedding device for circular looms, with pivoting rods, which protrude approximately radially from the loom main shaft and with which the shafts, strands or the like can be connected. The aim of the invention is to make this device as simple, reliable, cheap, easy to set up and maintain, and largely silent.
Various types of shedding devices are used for circular looms,

the movement for technical training is derived from the jetty. Common to these devices were the disadvantages of a complicated structure, the difficulties in maintenance and
Repairs involved and the strong noise development, especially with fast-running machines, caused by the inevitable play between the cam tracks and their scanning elements.
From EP-A1-54 791 a shaft control for circular looms has become known, in which use is made of the principle of the swash plate. For this purpose, a drivable bush is mounted on the main machine shaft, which can be driven at a speed which depends on the number of shooters, and on which two or more obliquely cylindrical rings are stuck.
Each of these rings carries a hub via a roller bearing, from which protrude two opposing arms rigidly connected to the hub, the free ends of which are connected via pull rods to warp thread carriers formed by hairpin-like wire springs. When the sleeve and thus the rings are rotated, the hubs make a tumbling movement, causing the two arms to move up and down harmoniously. This control was unable to overcome the disadvantages described.
To overcome these disadvantages and to achieve the above-mentioned effects, it is proposed in a shed-forming device of the type mentioned at the outset that the rods are connected to one another according to the invention by a ring-shaped, self-contained band made of resilient material, such as rubber, and that relative to one another the belt with the loom main shaft rotatable, cooperating with this control device for pivoting the rods is provided, which pivoting can take place, for example, in planes containing the machine axis, or along figure-eight loops, lemniscates or the like.
Further features of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawings, which illustrate a preferred exemplary embodiment of the shedding device according to the invention. 1 is an axial section through the device, FIG. 2 is a horizontal section through the device, and FIG. 3 is a development of the device which is shown in a substantially simplified manner to explain the mode of operation.
The main shaft of the circular loom is labeled --1--. By means of roller bearings --2-- it carries a sleeve --3--, on which a support ring --4-- for the shed bars --5-- is mounted. The support ring --4-- preferably has a T-shaped cross-section and radial holes --7-- are provided in the part --6-- of this support ring which projects approximately radially from the shaft, into which the inner ends of rods --5-- are inserted. At their outer or free ends, the rods have --5-- driving eyes --8--, from which the shedding movement for the shafts, strands or the like is removed.
The driving eyelets --8-- can preferably be connected directly to the shafts (not shown).
Near their outer ends-the. H. near the eyelets --8-- - all rods --5--, which run in their rest or central position in a plane perpendicular to the axis and radial to the main shaft, are characterized by an annular, self-contained band --9-- resilient material, such as rubber, interconnected. The band --9-- preferably has a rectangular cross section and is provided with holes --12-- parallel to the longer sides of the cross section for pushing through the rods --5--.
For reasons that are due to the structure of the weaving machine, are shown in
