The invention relates to a cooling drum for hot bulk goods such. B. sinter, scabies or
Slag with an inner and an outer jacket, between which a coolant such. B. water is guided.
Double-walled cooling drums are known from AT-PS No. 366101. These have the disadvantage that the separation between the cooling liquid and the material to be cooled is not always guaranteed, so that, for example, hydrogen formation can occur when cooling aluminum dross. In order to avoid this disadvantage, special precautions have been taken, such as. B. stuffing boxes, which make the construction more expensive and, with increasing cooling capacity, especially in continuous operation, in operating conditions with a very dusty atmosphere lead to operational difficulties. If, on the other hand, closed drums were used, stress cracks and / or warpage occurred.
The invention has set itself the task of addressing these disadvantages, and
To design the cooling drum as a water heater or low-pressure steam generator, in particular saturated steam generator, so that the heat of vaporization of the water also serves as cooling power
Available.
The invention is characterized in that at least one compensator is provided on the outer jacket of the cooling drum, and that sliding chairs are arranged between the outer jacket and the inner jacket at least in the region of the support of the cooling drum. Essential configurations of the invention are specified in subclaims 2 to 7.
The invention is shown schematically and by way of example in the drawings. Show it
1 shows a cooling drum in elevation and FIGS. 2 to 4 each show a part of the cooling drum in the region of the filling opening in three different design variations.
In Fig. 1 a cooling drum --2-- with an outer jacket -l- and an inner jacket --4-- is provided, whereby for the heat-elastic connection of the inner and outer jacket in the outer jacket --1-- at the ends of the cooling drum --2-- a compensator --3-- is arranged. The cooling drum is mounted in roller bearings at the support points --6 or 6 '- a sliding chair --5-- being arranged at the location of the support between the inner and outer jacket --4 or 1--, which is either welded to the outer or inner jacket and at the same time is designed as a holder for the distribution pipes --10-- of the coolant.
The refrigerated goods are introduced through the filling opening --11-- into the cooling drum and at the other end, which is closed by a cooling floor --13--, in which the supply and discharge lines for the cooling liquid are provided, through slots --14 - Brought out of the cooling drum.
FIG. 2 shows a construction variant of FIG. 1, in which the compensator connects the outer jacket 1 directly to the inner jacket 4 and thus represents a simplification compared to FIG. 1.
FIG. 3 shows a further construction variant, in which the compensator --3-- is arranged at a distance from the filling opening --11--, so that the outer jacket -l-breaks down into two cylindrical pieces -l'and l "-without the inner jacket, as in the previous figures, maintains the smooth inner contour so that no gluing can occur on the inside.
Fig. 4 discloses a further development to Fig. 3, in which the compensator --3-- is covered by a covering device --8--, which is connected on one side to the support --6- and on the other side is supported by a stuffing box --9-- on the outer jacket --1-- so that the compensator can practically not get dirty and the service life of the construction is increased.
Within the scope of the invention it is of course also possible to place the compensator --3 - only at one point, in particular from the filling opening --11-- in the area of the other end of the cooling drum --2--, i.e. at the cooling floor --13 - To arrange in a simple version. Likewise, instead of the cooling floor, only a simple flange connection --7-- can be provided, through which possibly larger dross pieces can be introduced or removed into the cooling drum --2--. Openings or slots --12, 12'-are provided in the cooling floor --13-- for introducing and discharging the cooling liquid.
