So könnte z.

The invention relates to a device for transporting gas cylinders on a
Truck, consisting of support elements provided on the chassis of the vehicle and attached to it circumferential flexible tensioning elements, by means of which the gas cylinders arranged horizontally, the full and outlet devices of which are inserted in the bottle neck and connected via connecting lines, are combined into at least one bundle and opened the support elements are clamped.
Such devices are used for the transport of gases under high pressure, in which a transport in tankers is practically out of the question due to the required thickness of the tank.
In known devices for transporting gas cylinders, an auxiliary frame with a loading area is built onto the chassis. A bundle frame with bottles is placed on this loading area. The bundle frames are mostly frames formed from profiles, in which the gas bottles lie side by side and / or one above the other. A disadvantage of the known devices is their relatively high dead weight, which results from the use of a subframe, a plateau and the massive structure of the bundle frames.
A device of the type characterized in the introduction is described in FR-PS No. 813. 304.
There, the gas bottles are mounted on or in support elements and braced by means of tensioning elements.
However, the supporting elements of this known device are again bundle frames, and therefore all the disadvantages described above occur.
The aim of the invention is to create a device which is considerably lighter than the known devices and which is also cheaper.
This goal is achieved on the basis of a device of the type mentioned at the outset in that the support elements are formed by at least two straight supports which are arranged at a distance from one another and only extend below the bundle of gas cylinders and preferably run transversely to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and which are each provided in each case with a support plate are, with each carrier a clamping member is assigned. With a device according to the invention, the heavy bundle frames have been saved, nevertheless a secure mounting is guaranteed.
A simple mounting of the tensioning element on the vehicle is achieved if it is guided along the carrier via bolts attached to it. To protect the tensioning element, it is advantageous if it extends within the support designed as a hollow profile.
In order to achieve a further connection of individual bottles in a simple manner, it is proposed that a connector with openings is provided for each horizontal row of bottles of the bundle, through which the bottle necks protrude, which are fastened to the connector by nuts, wedges or the like . It is expedient for the connecting piece to have an essentially U-shaped cross section, the open side of the connecting piece, which can preferably be closed by a plate, lying opposite the bottle necks and the filling and outlet devices including the connecting lines being accommodated in the interior of the connecting piece. As a result, the connection piece is stiffened, on the one hand, and the connection lines can run in the channel, on the other hand, and are thus protected.
The invention is described in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings. 1 shows a side view of a vehicle equipped with a device according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a section along line II-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a rear view, FIG. 4 shows detail IV according to FIG. 2, FIG. 5 shows a plan view along the line V in FIG. 4 and FIG. 6 shows the bottle fastening on a connecting piece.
The trailer for motor vehicles shown in the drawings, for example, has a frame --1-- and wheels --2--. Connected to the frame-l-are supports --3--, on each of which a plate --4-- rests. The brackets --3--, which run transversely to the longitudinal axis of the trailer, consist of hollow profiles, and a tensioning strap --5-- runs inside these hollow profiles, which is guided by bolts --6--. The brackets --3-- have openings --7-- for the passage of the strap --5--, which in the example shown is looped over a bundle of six gas bottles --8--, whereby the individual Support bottles --8-- to each other with elastic rings --9--.
In this way, the entire bundle is firmly connected to the vehicle.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
For additional fastening and securing of the connecting lines, the bottle necks --10-- are inserted through openings --11-- of a connecting piece --12 or 13 or 14-- and with the interposition of spacers 16-by means of 16-- by nuts - -17-- attached. As can be seen from Fig. 3, the lower three bottles are connected by means of a connecting piece --12--, the middle two bottles are connected by means of a connecting piece --13-- and the uppermost

and removal of the usual fittings --18-- protrude into the groove of the corresponding connecting piece and the connecting lines --19-- connecting these fittings run in the recesses.
To protect the fittings --18-- and the connecting lines --19--, the grooves of the connecting pieces --12, 13 and 14-- are each covered by a plate --20--.
The connectors in the example shown consist of a corrugated sheet, but it can also, for. B. U-beam od. Like. Be used.
Numerous modifications are possible within the scope of the invention. For example, B. the attachment of the bottle necks instead of nuts z. B. over wedges or the like. As tensioning elements can instead of tensioning straps z. B. ropes can also be used. The application of the invention is also not limited to trailers.
