Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Desinfektionsmittels.
Die hervorragenden desinfizierenden und insektentötenden Eigenschaften der Pikrinsäure und des Chlorpikrins konnten bisher nicht in entsprechendem Masse nutzbar gemacht werden. da diese Substanzen bekanntlich in Wasser schwer löslich und explosiv sind. Andererseits sind auch die Kresole, und zwar wegen ihres starken und unangenehmen Geruchs insbesondere für die Desinfektion und Ungeziefervertilgung in Wohnräumen wenig verwendet worden.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren, die genannten Substanzen in eine solche Form zu bringen, in welcher ihre desodorierenden, keim- und insektentötenden Eigenschaften zur Geltung kommen, ohne dass ihre unerwünschten Eigenschaften störend hervortreten. The excellent disinfecting and insecticidal properties of picric acid and chloropicrin could not be used to a corresponding extent. as these substances are known to be sparingly soluble in water and explosive. On the other hand, because of their strong and unpleasant smell, especially for disinfection and vermin extermination in living spaces, cresols have also been used little.
