Abstract

The invention relates to a device for cutting wood to length using a chain saw, with supports for the wood to be sawn, slots for passing the blade of the saw through being present between adjacent supports. There are a number of cutting compartments, provided with a rear wall 7, for receiving the wood to be cut, the rear wall 7 having the passage slots for the saw blade. Der vordere Teil des   Schneidbügels --9-- kann   über eine Lasche --10--, welche auf dem hinteren Teil des   Schneidbügels--8--angeschweisst   ist, in seiner Lage nach vorne und hinten verändert werden. Die Fixierung des vorderen Teils des   Schneidbügels --9-- erfolgt   über eine Befestigungsschraube --11--. Diese   Veränderungsmöglichkeit   beim   Schneidbügel --8, 9--   ist notwendig, um den Schneidkorb den verschiedenen Schwertlängen der   Motorsägen --23--   anpassen zu können. 



   In Fig. 3 ist durch den vorderen Teil des   Schneidbügels --9-- die   seitliche Befestigung auf den Schneidfächern ersichtlich. Dadurch kommt es nach dem Durchschneiden des Holzes --22-zum seitlichen Wegkippen desselben (--24--). 



   Beim Arbeitsvorgang wird das zu schneidende Brennholz --22-- seitlich in den Schneidkorb --7, 8,9, 13,   14-- eingelegt   und mit der   Motorsäge --23-- von   links beginnend durch die Spalten der Schneidfächer durchgeschnitten. Das Schwert der Motorsäge --23-- gelangt beim Schneiden unter das Niveau des Schneidbügels --8, 9--, wodurch das Holz --22-- zur Gänze durchschnitten wird. Nach dem Durchschneiden kommt die   Säge --23-- auf   dem Auflagebrett zum Aufliegen --6--, wodurch vermieden wird, dass der   Querträger --3-- beschädigt   wird. 



   PATENTANSPRÜCHE : 
1. Vorrichtung zum Ablängen von Holz unter Verwendung einer Kettensäge, mit Auflagen für das zu zersägende Holz, wobei zwischen benachbarten Auflagen Schlitze zum Durchstecken des Schwertes der Säge vorgesehen sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere mit einer Rückwand (7) versehene Schneidfächer zur Aufnahme des zu schneidenden Holzes hintereinander angeordnet sind, wobei die Rückwand (7) die Durchsteckschlitze für das Sägeschwert aufweist, und dass an der Rückwand (7) die als Leisten (8) ausgebildeten Auflagen mit Halterungen (9) befestigt sind, wobei die Halterungen (9) als Winkelstücke mit einem aufragenden und einem an den Leisten (8) verschiebbar und feststellbar gelagerten Schenkel ausgebildet sind.
