Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Klosett mit Klosettmuschel und Sitz und/oder Deckel, wo- bei Sitz bzw. Deckel um einen horizontalen Lagerzapfen schwenkbar an einem hinteren Befesti- gungsansatz des oberen Muschelrandes angelenkt ist bzw. sind und der Lagerzapfen mit Ab- stand oberhalb der durch den Muschelrand bestimmten Ebene verläuft.
Bisher dienen zur Anlenkung von Sitz und Deckel an der Klosettmuschel meist Scharnierbe- schläge, die in geeignete Löcher des Befestigungsansatzes von oben eingeschraubt oder auf ge- eignete Weise festgeklemmt werden und eine im Nahbereich des Muschelrandes liegende Schwenk- achse aufweisen. Der quer über den Befestigungsansatz gerichtete Lagerzapfen und die zugehöri- gen Lagerteile der Scharniere liegen dadurch praktisch in Höhe des Muschelrandes und sind hier einer beträchtlichen Verschmutzungsgefahr ausgesetzt. Es gibt auch schon Scharnierbeschläge, de- ren Lagerzapfen mit Abstand oberhalb des Muschelrandes verlaufen, doch sind diese Beschläge über Stützen ebenfalls von oben auf den Befestigungsansatz aufgesetzt, wodurch zwar nicht das
Scharnier selbst, aber doch die Scharnierbefestigung leicht verschmutzt und korrodiert.
Ausserdem behindern diese Scharnierteile die Zugänglichkeit und Reinigungsmöglichkeit gerade der besonders verschmutzungsanfälligen hinteren Muschelbereiche, wie Befestigungsansatz und Sitz- bzw. Deckella- gestellen.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, diese Mängel zu beseitigen und ein Klosett der eingangs geschilderten Art zu schaffen, das besonders pflegeleicht ist und eine mühelose, hygienische Reinigung erlaubt.
Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, dass der Lagerzapfen in seitlich hochragende Lagerohren des Befestigungsansatzes eingreift oder einen den Befestigungsansatz seitlich untergreifenden, unterhalb des Befestigungsansatzes festklemmbaren Lagerbügel bildet. Durch diese einfache Lagerzapfenabstützung wird der Muschelrand auch im Bereich des hinteren Befestigungsansatzes frei zugänglich und lässt sich bequem reinigen, wobei die heiklen Lager- bzw. Scharnierteile samt den zugehörigen Befestigungseinrichtungen aus dem unmittelbaren Verschmutzungsbereich herauskommen, so dass die gewünschte hygienische Sauberkeit mühelos zu erreichen und aufrecht zu erhalten ist.
Wird ein einfacher bolzenförmiger Lagerzapfen verwendet, nehmen diesen seitlich hochgezogene Lagerohren des Befestigungsansatzes auf, die bei entsprechenden Übergängen die Pflegeleichtigkeit nicht schmälern und eine formschöne, stabile Sitz- und Deckellagerung mit sich bringen. Eine andere konstruktive Lösung ergibt sich durch die Ausgestaltung des Lagerzapfens als Lagerbügel, der an der Unterseite des Befestigungsansatzes montiert ist und mit seinem oberen horizontalen Schenkel den Lagerzapfen bildet. Abgesehen von den damit erzielbaren, neuen optischen Effekten dieser Lagerung wird hier der gesamte obere Muschelbereich von hochragenden Lagerteilen od. dgl. freigehalten und die Voraussetzung für eine optimale Sauberkeit geboten.
In den Zeichnungen ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise dargestellt, u. zw. zeigen die Fig. 1 und 2 zwei Ausführungsbeispiele eines erfindungsgemässen Klosetts jeweils in schematischer Rückansicht.
Eine Klosettmuschel --1-- weist einen an den Muschelrand --2-- angepassten Sitz --3-- und einen Deckel --4-- auf, wobei Sitz --3-- und Deckel --4-- mittels eines horizontalen Lagerzapfens --5, 6-- schwenkbar an einem hinteren Befestigungsansatz --7-- des Muschelrandes --2-angelenkt sind. Um die Verschmutzungsgefahr zu verringern und die Pflegeleichtigkeit zu erhöhen, verläuft der Lagerzapfen --5, 6-- mit Abstand oberhalb des Muschelrandes --2--, so dass der ganze Bereich des Muschelrandes --2-- und des Befestigungsansatzes --7-- frei zugänglich und gut zu reinigen ist.
Um dies zu erreichen, bildet gemäss dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 1 der Lagerzapfen --5-- einen Lagerbügel --5a--, der den Befestigungsansatz --7-- seitlich untergreift und untehalb dieses Befestigungsansatzes --7-- durch geeignete Klemmeinrichtungen fixiert ist, wobei als Klemmeinrichtungen, wie für die linke Klemmstelle in Fig. 1 angedeutet, in den üblichen Löchern des Befestigungsansatzes sitzende Klemmschrauben --8-- oder auch, wie für die rechte Klemmstelle angedeutet, eine vom Befestigungsansatz --7-- selbst gebildete Aufnahme --9-- dienen können.
Gemäss dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 2 gibt es zur Anlenkung von Sitz --3-- und Deckel - einen bolzenförmigen Lagerzapfen --6--, der beiderends in seitlich hochragende Lagerohren --10-- des Befestigungsansatzes --7-- eingreift und so mit entsprechend grossem Abstand

The invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies and creating a lavatory of the type described at the outset, which is particularly easy to care for and enables effortless, hygienic cleaning.
The invention solves this problem in that the bearing pin engages in laterally protruding bearing ears of the fastening attachment or forms a bearing bracket which engages underneath the fastening attachment and can be clamped underneath the fastening attachment. This simple trunnion support means that the edge of the shell is also freely accessible in the area of the rear fastening attachment and can be easily cleaned, with the delicate bearing and hinge parts including the associated fastening devices coming out of the immediate soiling area so that the desired hygienic cleanliness can be achieved and maintained with ease can be obtained.
If a simple bolt-shaped bearing journal is used, these take up laterally raised bearing ears of the fastening attachment, which do not detract from the ease of maintenance with appropriate transitions and bring an elegant, stable seat and cover bearing with them. Another constructive solution results from the design of the bearing pin as a bearing bracket, which is mounted on the underside of the fastening projection and forms the bearing pin with its upper horizontal leg.
