Schallreflektor für Schalltrichter an Blechblasinstrumenten, Signalhuppen.

   Phonographen u. dgl.

Sound reflector for horns on brass instruments, horns.

   Phonographs and like

The invention relates to a sound reflector for horns of various instruments such. D. Trumpets, horns, sirens, phonographs, etc. s. w. This reflector consists of a full or hollow body, the shape of which is adapted to the respective instrument used and which is arranged at the point of impact of the sound waves or at the bottom of the sound shell.

The purpose of this reflector is to propagate the sound waves in a straight line over a large distance.
 EMI1.1
a signal horn for automobiles, bicycles, etc. s. w. is assumed, namely:

Fig. 2 is a vertical section along the line A-B of Fig. 1. The signal bell has

The double paraboloid is supposed to throw back the sound waves at its upper surface and deflect them for the most part towards the sound shell itself, where they are thrown back for the second time and sent out, mainly in the form of one

other. Such a membrane generates vibrations that change those of the inner column of air.

! zip in the form of a double paral) oloid shown in the drawing is not essential for the Henektor and this form can be changed at will in order to adapt it to the respective instrument used. However, it is necessary to design this renector in such a way that a suitable reflection and concentration of the sound waves is achieved.
