Universal rolling mill for rolling 1 triggers.

The present invention relates to such universal rolling mills for rolling I-beams. in which the I-profiles with bent flanges are pre-rolled up to the final cross-sectional dimensions, whereupon the flanges are bent straight in a special finishing rolling mill, which rolling mills are shown, for example, in FIG.

It has now been shown that the horizontal rollers (A, Al) in these rolling mills can no longer be used after a long period of use because they cannot be turned enough without the end in the caliber, where the vertical roller provided with edges (C) occurs in corresponding back turns of the horizontal rollers, is impaired.

As a result of the gap, which becomes larger and larger due to repeated re-turning, beards and burrs will appear on the support flanges.

According to the present invention, this disadvantage is to be remedied by working on the rollers. A 41 C provides special rectilinear surfaces g and h. which allow the rolls to be re-turned while maintaining the congruence of the roll profile; these surfaces can

The service life of the horizontal rollers is considerably extended by this device and the new shape (Fig. 2) of the rollers, without back-turning of the horizontal rollers and without long edges of the one vertical roller C entering these back-turns, has absolutely no bearing on the formation of burrs FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 can be seen in more detail.

Three successive stitches are shown in FIGS. 3-5. The dotted shape has the bar turned by 180 from the previous roller pass. Left is from the

those edges in the horizontal rollers.

The shape of the rollers according to Fig. 1 is a transition shape from the old to the new (Fig. 2).

The width of the ring surface g indicates how far the turning of the horizontal rollers can be continued.
