The invention relates to a door leaf, consisting of two metal sheets, which are kept at a distance along their circumference by edge profiles and are connected to one another, and whose cavity between the metal sheets optionally contains insulation, the edge profiles on the opposite long sides of the door leaf being essentially C -Profiles are, the legs of which run parallel to the metal sheets to the edge of the door leaf and have 90 bent webs facing each other at their ends, the edge areas of the metal sheets being angled inwards and both the distance between the ends of the webs and the clear width between the base of the C-shaped profile part and its webs is a multiple of the sheet thickness, whereby a parallel to the door leaf edge cavity for receiving z.
B. is formed by hinge nuts, fittings and seals.
In a known door leaf of this type (DE-PS No. 2806115) cover plates are provided on both sides of a circumferential frame made of profile bars which have a C-profile open to the outside in cross section. Wedge-shaped gaps are left between the cover plates, the edge areas of which are angled inwards by 90, and the outer surfaces of the legs of the profile bars, which are foamed together with the entire door leaf interior and are intended to ensure a secure adhesive connection between cover plates and frame.
With one, e.g. B. from DE-PS No. 2758824 known similar door leaf, the legs of the profile part are welded to the metal sheets. The edge areas of the metal sheets are angled inwards by approximately 120 from the door leaf level; they can engage in corresponding slots in a sealing bead.
In the manufacture of these known door leaves, an exact alignment of the metal sheets with respect to one another and with respect to the profile parts is required. Then the metal sheets must be connected to the profile parts by welding or gluing (foaming).
Furthermore, from GB-PS No. 634, 148 the connection of a single sheet to a frame has become known, the connection being made on the inner edge of the frame by means of a folded connection which has a C-shaped profile part, the legs of which extend perpendicular to the frame, from Engage the grooves formed in the frame outer plates. The single sheet is clamped into this joint. An application of this connection to a door leaf of the type according to the invention is not possible solely because there would not be enough space to accommodate fittings, seals, etc.
Finally, FR-PS No. 787. 977 shows a door leaf which has a relatively strong frame made of a U-shaped profile iron, the legs of which run straight and are directed outwards towards the edge of the door leaf. In order to achieve sufficient rigidity in this construction, the U-shaped profile part must be made very strong, which increases the weight of the door leaf. In addition, there is no easy way to hardware components such. B.
Push tapes, seals etc. into the groove open to the outside or clamp them there.
It is an object of the invention to provide a door leaf which is easier and cheaper to produce than the known door leaves and which has good strength properties and low weight.
This goal can be achieved with a door leaf of the type mentioned at the outset, in which, according to the invention, the edge regions of the metal sheets are bent further by 1800 after being bent by 900 to form a groove perpendicular to the door leaf plane, the sides facing one another Crosspieces of the profile part formed from sheet metal can be inserted into the grooves essentially in a form-fitting manner.
The invention offers the advantage that a secure connection of the metal sheets is possible without prior precise alignment of the metal sheets and profile parts and without special connection work, such as welding or gluing. Door hinge nuts, fittings, seals or the like can be easily inserted into the cavity on the edge of the door leaf.
The invention together with its further advantages and features is illustrated below with the aid of exemplary embodiments which are illustrated in the drawings. 1 shows a door leaf according to the invention in a schematic front view, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 11-11 of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a representation like FIG. 2 the fastening of a door hinge, FIG. 4 in 2 shows the attachment of a sealing profile to the door leaf and FIG. 5 shows a section along the line VV of FIG. 1.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a door leaf consists of two metal sheets-1, 1 ′, which are supported along their longer sides on the edge by means of a C-shaped profile part −2--, so that a distance a between the metal sheets 1 ′ remains.
The edge areas of the metal sheets-1, 1 ′ are initially angled inwards, starting from the sheet level 90. They each run about a third of the distance a perpendicular to the door leaf level and are then bent further by 180 in the same sense, so that the bent-over edge regions each form a 3 ′ groove.
The C-shaped profile part --2-- has legs --4, 4 '-, the ends of which have a further 90 bent webs --5, 5' - facing each other. With these webs --5, 5 '- the profile part --2-- can be inserted into the grooves --3, 3' - of the metal sheets --1, l '- essentially in a form-fitting manner during the manufacture of the door leaf.
As can be seen in FIG. 3, the door leaf can be connected in a simple manner in the edge regions designed according to the invention with the aid of a screw bolt --6-- and a nut part --7-- provided with a threaded bore with a door hinge --8--. Hiebei makes it noticeably noticeable that the door leaf in this area has three times the sheet thickness and corresponding strength.
In Fig. 4, a sealing profile --9-- is shown, which - with two corresponding slots

ten are present, which the sealing profile --9--, the z. B. consists of rubber or plastic, could damage, as is the case with known door leaves.
EMI2.2
dung according to the invention on one to four sides of a door leaf, optionally in combination with other edge connections can be made.
It should be mentioned that the door leaf can also have an insulation lying between the metal sheets - 1, 1 ', which may be glued to them. Also, especially in the case of larger door leaves, the metal sheets can be supported locally against one another. As a result of the stable design of the edge areas according to the invention, the metal sheets can have smaller than normal sheet thicknesses with the same stability.
