The invention relates to a hinge for furniture doors with a locking mechanism, with a hinge cup on the door leaf, in which the inner ends of two articulated levers are rotatably mounted, the outer ends of which act on a hinge arm to form a four-bar linkage, a spring-loaded pressure piece being mounted within the hinge arm , the spring of which is supported on the inner articulated lever and which is rotatably mounted on the same at the same time by means of a holding arm, a pressing surface for the pressure piece being provided on the hinge arm.
Such hinges with their own locking mechanism are largely known. The main advantage of this is that a separate locking part, for example a magnetic catch, is saved on the furniture.
In general, the locking mechanisms are set up in such a way that the closed door leaf is held by the hinge in such a way that when the door leaf is opened it is necessary to work against the spring pressure of the locking mechanism and then, after overcoming a dead center of the door leaf from the locking mechanism, i.e. H. in the open position.
When closing the door leaf, the locking mechanism works in the opposite way.
An example of this is described in DE-OS 3009137. This shows a hinge with a striker, which is either stored in the hinge cup or on the hinge arm.
The disadvantage of such a hinge can be seen primarily in the fact that the closing action of the hinge sets in approximately when the door leaf is in a 45 'open position, ie. H. the door leaf is closed relatively early; at a time when the actual effect of the hinge or the locking mechanism is not yet desired. Furthermore, due to the long effective closing path, the furniture door leaves are often slammed, which, apart from the unpleasant noise, has disadvantages with regard to the very strong axle and joint loads on the hinge as such.
In a short time, the hinges have become known, in which the pressure piece for the locking mechanism is mounted on one of the articulated levers via an axis of rotation.
With these hinges, the pressure piece is supported on an articulated lever axis in the closed position and directly on the hinge arm in the open position. As a result, when the hinge is closed, that is to say when changing from one support for the pressure piece to the other, a “snap effect” which is not always desired.
Furthermore, the hinge must be specially designed, i. H. it must have a specially shaped pressure surface for the pressure piece.
The object of the invention is to improve a hinge of this type in such a way that the angle of the furniture door leaf to the actual closing plane of the furniture door leaf, at which the closing effect occurs, can be chosen freely and also chosen to be relatively small, preferably at an angle of approximately 10 to 150 , a dead center does not have to be overcome when opening or closing the door of the hinge, and that the hinge arm itself does not have to be manufactured specifically for the respective locking mechanism.
This is achieved according to the invention in that a separate insert, preferably made of plastic, such as polyamide or polyacetate, is arranged on the hinge arm, which extends over the entire displacement path of the pressure piece and which bears the pressure surface designed as a control curve for the pressure piece, the course of the control curve continuously passes from the closing area to the open area.
It is advantageously provided that the insert encompasses the articulation axis of the outer articulated lever on the hinge arm, as a result of which the insert is securely anchored in a simple manner.
An embodiment of the invention provides that a step is formed on the insert, which rests on the central web of the hinge arm formed with a U-profile. In this way, the hold of the insert on the hinge arm is also improved in order to take account of the relatively high pressure loads.
With regard to the material pairing between the insert and the pressure piece, the invention preferably provides that the insert is plastic, for example polyamide or polyacetate. However, other pairings or compositions are also possible, for example the
