The invention relates to a large-scale plant for the extraction of fresh water and inorganic substances from sea water, which is characterized in that it is immersed in at least one conveyor belt, which is arranged in a plane deviating from the horizontal, the lower region of the sea water and equipped with scooping tanks whose floors and walls are designed as heating plates of an electrical high-temperature heating system, furthermore from a steam collecting device with coils for discharging the steam, a countercurrent cooling system for cooling the steam, a collecting container for the condensed water, optionally a metering device for supplying minerals for the production of Drinking water or a hydroponic liquid from the condensed water,
a catch basin for the dry residue from the evaporation and optionally separation or treatment plants for this inorganic residue.
According to a special embodiment, the steam collecting device has a plurality of pipe coils for the condensed water, which are surrounded by a cooling water pipe coil.
The conveyor belt preferably has an inclination angle of approximately 45. It is driven with the help of chains or serrations via gears or toothed rollers. The scoops are preferably arranged at the same distance and can be tilted. By the time the upper tip point is reached, the water in the scoop should be completely evaporated so that the dry residue can be emptied into the collecting basin below. After appropriate cooling, the condensed water is collected in a collection container; it can be used as drinking water or as the basis for a wide variety of beverages.
The extraction of inorganic substances from sea water can prevent the exploitation and contamination of nature in other places and make it unnecessary.
The use as nutrient water for hydroponics has already been mentioned.
The chemical, biological and industrial recycling of the products obtained is carried out

The drawing shows the system cut radially through the conveyor belt and serves to explain the invention. They show: M the sea level, --1-- the housing wall, --2-- the condensate collection container, --3-- a double wall with a continuously insulating air duct

the catchment basin - the conveyor belt with the scooping tanks --7--, --8-- the pipe dome, --9-- the coil end of the steam intake surrounded by the evaporation end --10-- the cooling water coil conveyor, --11-- that Pipe coil end of the condensate feed line in the condensate collecting tank --2--, --12-- the end of the cooling water pipe coil through which sea water is sucked in when vaporization is on the top.
As can be seen from the mere schematic drawing, the condensate collecting container located above the conveyor belt with the scooping tanks is insulated from the space underneath by a double wall which is open to the outside and is channel-like against the heating caused by the rising water vapor. The water vapor is fed through an upwardly tapering and curved pipe dome to the opposing pipe coils, which are arranged at a short distance from one another and are enclosed outside the pipe dome by a pipe coil containing the cooling water.
The pipe coil containing the condensate system and guiding the cooling water spirally wraps around the housing of the system and dips with its lower open end into the sea water after the condensed water pipes have flowed out of it into the condensed water collecting tank below. The upper open end of the coiled coil enables the steam, which is heated on the top side, to freely vaporize, the suction of which causes the countercurrent circulation of the condensation system.
