Description
In the so-called independent, separated from the rest of the sewage treatment plant Schlatnmfaulbehältern must have special facilities for the distribution of the sludge and thus for the even utilization of the digestion area. So far, inter alia into the lazy rooms uses built-in, horizontally rotating agitators, with which it is possible to stir the sludge without, however, the various To change layers in the septic tank in their altitude. For circulating the sludge, d. H. to change the Layers of sludge in their altitude, you have pumps or shovels in the septic tanks built-in. This is intended to circulate the entire contents of the digester from bottom to top or from top to bottom, see above that the fresh sludge comes into contact with the rotten one. With the previously known Facilities, however, do this only imperfectly, and the circulation only extends to the contents of the digester in the immediate vicinity of the circulation systems, while the rest of the stop remains unaffected. Become nasty Circulation systems in Faulräj ^ Sen with Gas extraction systems v-erweaidet, so must A free space above the sludge level for the sludge to exit from the circulation pump be kept free. Tn septic tanks equipped with gas traps should, therefore, the gas blanket must be above the sludge level; That has significant Disadvantages, since leaks can hardly be avoided in gas catchers that are located above water. The; Consequence of that can be that atmospheric air penetrates into the free space under the gas ceiling and leads to explosions.
The subject of the present invention, however, is a digester with a gas trap, which is below the liquid level and for access is closed by air. In such systems, pumping devices have also been provided to remove the sludge from the Remove the bottom of the digester and put it back into the digester at a point below the gas ceiling promoted back. Also below the gas trap ceiling, which is below the water level working agitators are known in these systems.
According to the present invention, an intimate mixing of the digester contents should now be achieved at the same time a good agitator digester layers lying below the gas trap ceiling can be achieved by that at the sludge outlet point of the circulation pump distribution pipes of different lengths are arranged, which the sludge to different places of the upper digester layer promote and at the same time can be designed as an agitator itself.
On the accompanying drawing, 65 · Fig. Ι the device in plan view, and Fig. 2 in cross section. The mirror-lying gas ceiling b is covered, under which the digester gas is brought together in the gas hoods c and discharged through the pipes *. At d the fresh sludge is introduced into the digester and at e the digested sludge is drained. / is the sludge pump with which the sludge is to be conveyed through the suction pipe f 1 from the bottom to the top, g are the pressure pipes branching off from the pump, the mouths of which are at different distances from the pump, so that the sludge is spread over the entire surface of the digester is distributed, h should set the drive of the pump darts.
The effect of this device is that the pump sucks in good, mature sludge from below from the digester and pushes it through the pipes g to various Stelao len in the upper part of the digester. The pipes are necessary in order to distribute the circulation over the largest possible space. Without these pipes, the sludge would only be circulated in the immediate vicinity of the suction pipe and the pump.
The distribution of the sludge can be be supported by the fact that the tubes are rotatably arranged; they then form at the same time a destroyer of the floating cover, which form under the gas cover could. The force required to rotate the pipes can thereby be reduced be that one bends the pipe mouths against the direction of rotation, as indicated in the drawing. It will In this way the pressure of the sludge in the pipes is also responsible for their rotation exploited.
By connecting the circulation pump with the pressure pipes according to the present Invention is the effective radius of the pump and thus the economic utilization of the septic tank significantly expanded.
The circulation device can be operated continuously or intermittently as required.
