Um die Wärme besser von der Maschine auf das Saugrohr überzuleiten, werden an den Anschlussstellen des Saugrohres an die Zylinder metallische Unterlagscheiben verwendet.

Saugrohr für Explosionskraftmaschinen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es längs seines von der Maschine entfernter liegenden Teiles im Querschnitte derart veränderbar ist, dass das Gemisch von Luft und flüssigem Brennstoff ohne Ausdehnung und Geschwindigkeitsverlust beim Übertritt durch das in diesem Rohrteile angeordnete, teilweise geschlossene Drosselorgan zum heisseren Rohrteile gelangen kann.
