Die Erfindung betrifft eine selbsttätige Spanneinrichtung für Förderseile von Seilbahnen und Schleppliften, die aus einer elektromotorisch angetriebenen Seilwinde für das an der in der Spannstation vorgesehenen beweglichen Antriebs- oder Umlenkscheibe angreifende Spannseil, einer Messeinrichtung für die Kraft, mit der das Förderseil gespannt wird, und einer Regeleinrichtung für den Antrieb der Spannseilwinde besteht, wobei die Spannseilwinde durch die Regeleinrichtung in Abhängigkeit von der in der Messeinrichtung ermittelten Spannkraft derart betätigt wird, dass die Grundspannkraft im Förderseil konstant gehalten wird.
Es sind derartige Einrichtungen bekannt, bei denen die Messung der Kraft, mit der das Förderseil gespannt wird, durch Messung der Seilspannkraft im Spannseil erfolgt. Durch diese Anordnung der Kraftmesseinrichtung ist es bei einer Spanneinrichtung der eingangs genannten Art ebenso wie bei einer Gewichtsspanneinrichtung und bei einer hydraulischen Spanneinrichtung der bekannten Bauart nur möglich, die Grundspannkraft im Förderseil in der Spannstation, also in der Station mit beweglicher Antriebs- bzw. Umlenkscheibe konstant zu halten.
