Tabakspfeifenkopf.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist eine kurze englische Stummelpfeife (Fig. l) mit flachem, breitem Kopfe und hat den Zweck, das Rauchen V. 1n Zigarettentabak zu ermöglichen und zwar ohne Verwendung einer Papierhülse, deren Verbrennung gesundheitsschädlich wirkt, und ohne andererseits gezwungen zu sein, den Zigarettentabak nach Art des gewöhnlichen Pfeifentabaks rauchen zu müssen, wozu der erstere bekanntlich zu stark ist. Der Zigarettentabak wird zu diesem Behufe in der Form eines Stranges in der Stärke einer Zigarette in den Pfeifenkopf gestopft, am Süsseren Ende angezündet und brennt gegen das innere Ende fort. Das wird durch eine Spirale erzielt, welche sich im Pfeifenkopfe befindet.
Diese Spirale S ist 10 mm tief und erstreckt sich in 8 mm breiten Windungen von der Vorderwand des Kopfes bis zum Saugloch 0 in der Mitte des Bodens. Dieselbe kann ein besonderes Stack bilden oder aus dem Pfeifenkopfe herausgearbeitet sein.
An der Vorderseite des Kopfes befindet sich ein 2-5 mm breiter Spalt A (Fig. 2), der sich vom Boden der Spirale bis zum Deckel erstreckt. Dieser Spalt dient zum Anzünden des Tabakes.
Der Deckel D ist genau passend und mit einer seichten Nut N versehen, welche den Windungen der Spirale S entspricht. Derselbe kann voll (ohne Loch Fig. 1) sein, oder er hat den Windungen der Spirale angepasste Luftlöcher L (Fig. 2). Im letzteren Falle muss in die gestopfte Pfeife ein Blatt Zigarettenpapier zwischen Deckel und Spirale gelegt werden.

Tobacco pipe head.
The subject of the invention is a short English stub pipe (Fig. 1) with a flat, wide head and has the purpose of making it possible to smoke V. 1n cigarette tobacco without using a paper tube, the burning of which is harmful to health, and without being forced to use the Having to smoke cigarette tobacco in the manner of ordinary pipe tobacco, for which the former is known to be too strong. For this purpose, the cigarette tobacco is stuffed into the bowl of the pipe in the form of a rod the strength of a cigarette, lit at the sweet end and burns away towards the inner end. This is achieved by a spiral, which is located in the pipe bowl.
This spiral S is 10 mm deep and extends in 8 mm wide turns from the front wall of the head to the suction hole 0 in the middle of the bottom. The same can form a special stack or be carved out of the pipe bowl.
At the front of the head there is a 2-5 mm wide gap A (Fig. 2) that extends from the bottom of the spiral to the lid. This gap is used to light the tobacco.
The cover D fits exactly and is provided with a shallow groove N, which corresponds to the turns of the spiral S. It can be full (without a hole, FIG. 1), or it has air holes L adapted to the turns of the spiral (FIG. 2). In the latter case, a sheet of cigarette paper must be placed between the lid and the spiral in the stuffed pipe.
