The wool 27 carrying the pans 14 are connected to one another by gears 28-ver. bound so that when the carriage carrying the pans assumes the casting position shown in Fig. 1 on the table 12 and is rotated by means of a hand crank 29, both groups of pans 14 are transferred into an inclined position (Fig. 3).
Since the spouts 15 of the pans 14 are of the same size, an equal amount of metal will accordingly flow out of each pan, which amounts are introduced into the sprues 19 of the molds 17 at the same speed and with the same pressure due to the same height of the pans from which the same pass into the inlets 22, which distribute the metal evenly to each side of the sprues 1 into the cavity 23 of the mold 17 ′. The amounts of metal will accordingly flow evenly and quickly into the cavity 23 at the same speed and pressure communicated at the same time and will spread and unite therein at the same speed.
The fast and even flow of the metal prevents the same from a harmful lowering of temperature, so that the same during the pouring of the pipe in a to achieve a clean respectively. flawless casting is obtained. As a result of the smooth surface of the walls of the cavity 28, a smooth surface is provided at the same time to the flawless pipe thus obtained. This is BEZW after removal of the upper case of the form and after removal from the lower case for immediate use. suitable for processing. The gases produced during casting are absorbed in a known manner by the core 25 and the groove 23 of the mold 17.
After the carriage 13 has been removed from the turntable 12 and the latter has been rotated by the distance between two molds, a second carriage, the pans of which have meanwhile been filled with liquid metal, is pushed onto the table.
