Profilstahl zur Herstellung aufschweissharer Hufeisengriffe.
EMI1.1

Profile steel for the manufacture of weld-on horseshoe handles.
EMI1.1
The purpose of the present invention is to produce such weldable horseshoe handles without insert pins and to be precise on suitable profile steel, without the disadvantages of greater waste.
The drawing shows: FIG. 1 a weldable horseshoe handle made of a profile steel with a hollow-rolled side and a rolled-in central groove; Fig. 2 the same with
EMI1.2
be formed tooth-like by cutting, pressing, rolling or other suitable processing (Fig. 2). The teeth presented in this way are thus in the lower one
EMI1.3
hit the rotwarmo horseshoe It in different directions into the same, so that the handle connects to the horseshoe in a dovetail shape, so that the fastening of the handle is significantly increased (Fig. 4).
Through the middle groove! ' and because of the spaces between the individual teeth r3 when they are connected to the horseshoe before welding, the welding heat can advantageously be communicated to the entire welding surface and thus considerably increase the welding; dirt and slag are easily removed.
A further advantage of using the horseshoe grips according to FIG. 1, but without a central groove, is the use of the grip with worn horseshoe grips by welding onto the same as shown in FIG.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Profile steel for the production of weldable horseshoe handles, which is hollow on the side corresponding to the welding surface of the handles in such a way that two outwardly directed wedge strips (r, r1) are created from which the drive-in pins are formed, which are formed when driving into the warm red horseshoe in the opposite direction into the same.
