<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Device for fastening cross beams to masts for electrical lines.
The invention relates to devices for attaching cross members to masts for electrical lines, by means of clamp straps or the like. The present invention
EMI1.1
the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in some exemplary embodiments. FIGS. 1 to 8 show the first exemplary embodiment in a front view, side view and plan. In this case, 1 is the angular bracket, which is advantageously resilient and whose correspondingly wide legs opposite one another contain the piercing holes 2, 3 for the cross member 4. The bracket has reinforcing ribs 5 above and below the holes.
In this exemplary embodiment, the bracket is also designed as a fastening strap or so-called pull strap. For this purpose, the leg ends directed parallel or approximately parallel to one another are forged round and provided with screw threads at the ends. This band formed in this way is placed around the mast and clamped thereon by means of a guide plate 6 and nuts 7 attached to the leg ends. Here, the legs of the bracket 1 are pressed apart by the mast penetrating between them, so that the boundaries of the eyes 2, 3 press firmly against the crossbeam, thereby clamping the latter.
This whole facility allows a very convenient attachment of the cross member to the mast. One or a number of mounting brackets can be pushed onto the carrier and this can be equipped with the supports. The cross member is pressed with the chest against the mast during the attachment and the worker then has both or at least one hand free to work. Furthermore, this fastening device can, within certain limits, be used for masts of various thicknesses, in that the legs of the resilient hill spread more or less according to the thickness of the latter when it is clamped to the mast. So that the serving plates can always be used, Ril1 are provided with slotted holes for the leg ends of the bracket 1 to pass through.
Rotations of the crossbeam in a plane lying parallel to the mast through its longitudinal axis are excluded because it is not possible to adjust the two AUg'ons holding the crossbeam relative to one another.
Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment, which differs from the one described only in that the bracket 1 here consists of two symmetrical halves, which are connected at the top of the bracket by a folded ring 8 or a similar means. The mode of action is exactly the same as described earlier.
Fig. F) illustrates an embodiment in which the resilient, angular, the through holes for the cross member possessing bracket 1 by means of screws. 9 is pressed against the mast, with eyes at one end in
Bends in the leg ends of the bracket j! are suspended and held at their other end in the serving plate 6 by nuts 7.
While in the exemplary embodiments described so far, the resilient bracket containing the piercing holes for the cross members is itself designed as a pull strap, the bracket 1 & is shown in plan and floor plan in FIGS. 6 and 7
Execution with the help of special pull straps 10 pressed onto the mast, so that in the process one legs are pressed apart and the carrier 4 itself is thereby clamped in the through holes in the bracket. to secure against longitudinal displacement. These draw straps 10 are formed from round iron and both are held with their screw-threaded ends in a common platen 11 by nuts.
These straps placed around the resilient bracket 18 are shaped so that they only press on the vertex of the latter when tightening, so the bracket legs can spread under the influence of the mast pressing between them. The straps finally engage in slots 12 in the outwardly bent ends of the legs of the bracket 1 '". The latter also has a rib 13, 13 on its apex above and below, so that the parts described are secure when clamped on the mast are held together.
8 and 9 show yet another embodiment in plan and floor plan, which differs from the last described in that the bracket b in its
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Vertices is divided, that is, consists of two symmetrical halves which contain the through holes 2, 3 for the cross member 4. Both parts are held together by the pull strap 14 placed around them and the mast, which is shaped like the ones mentioned in the previous example, so that when the same is tightened, the two legs of the bracket that are supported against the mast are pressed apart, and thereby the desired attachment of the cross member is achieved.
In FIGS. 10 to 12, an embodiment is shown in which the cross member is held in a suitable manner on one part of the clamp band which is designed as a console. The front plate 6 of the embodiments described earlier is here indirectly or, as in the example shown, directly connected to a bracket 15 which serves to carry the cross member 4. The cross member 4, designed in a known manner, is connected to the bracket 15 by means of hammer-head screws 16 in a similar manner to the insulator supports with the cross member according to Patent 32692. The console with the cross member is held on the mast by a pull strap 17. A middle press-out 18 is used to stiffen the console.
The advantage associated with the latter arrangement is the ease with which the cross member can be attached to the mast; the console can first be attached to the mast by itself with the pulling strap, whereupon the crossbeam only needs to be attached to the console, which does not cause any difficulties, since the crossbeam can rest on the console while it is being fastened, there is no need to keep it special.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A device for attaching cross beams to masts for electrical lines, characterized in that, in the case of the clamps used to fasten the cross beams on the mast, push-through openings for holding the cross beams are arranged opposite one another in the legs of an angular bracket in the vicinity of the apex thereof, which 13 (gel ends with its legs supporting itself on the mast, is pressed against it by suitable pulling straps so that the legs are spread apart by the mast penetrating between them, giving them the necessary inclination to clamp the crossbeam (Fig. 1- 9).
