<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
untere bzw. obere Tafel --1 bzw. 2--.

lower or upper table --1 or 2--. This board --3-- is folded in a zigzag shape in the longitudinal direction perpendicular to its corrugation, for which purpose incisions --4-- are made on the edge lines.
The three panels --1, 2, 3-- are assembled in the factory by spot welding or the like to form the roof panel, the lower and upper panels - 1, 2-- being directly connected to one another on the left in Fig. 1. In cross section, the finished plate shows the shape of a roof truss (Fig. 1), which results in an extremely stable, bending and torsion-resistant self-supporting construction in the manner of box girders or torsion boxes. The cavities between the plates --1, 2-- and the webs --3 'are expediently filled with an insulating material.
On the side opposite the junction of the panels --1, 2--, the panel is finished with a plate arranged perpendicular to the lower panel --1--, but preferably with a vertical web, which also forms a one-piece section of the middle panel - 3-- represents. If necessary, the plate is provided with triangular metal sheets on the sides.
Alternatively, the roof panel according to FIG. 3 can have a trapezoidal cross-section, the panels - 1, 2 - being connected to one another at both ends by a web and, if appropriate, by a square sheet metal on the sides.
Plates formed in this way can be arranged side by side and the joints located between them can be covered. However, the invention provides a connection that eliminates the need for masking.
For this purpose, the upper panel --2-- protrudes by one on one long side --5-- of the plate (left in Fig. 2)
EMI2.1
Cross section of the plate results.
In Fig. 2, a plate is shown in cross section and a second plate is shown in a position as it is immediately before assembling the plates into a plate assembly. It can be seen that in the case of panels which are connected to one another, the upper panel --2-- overlaps the webs --3 '- or the central panel --3-- in an area corresponding to a corrugation and the central panel - the lower panel Panel --1-- overlapped in such an area. The plates are advantageously connected to one another in the area of the overlap.
It goes without saying that the number of panels is not limited to two, but that a plurality of panels arranged in parallel and / or at an angle to one another can also be provided. The plates formed in this way have graduated edges on the long sides for the purpose of mutual connection, the gradation also being able to be more than one corrugation; on the other hand, it is possible to have only one panel protrude over the edge of the plate.
As already mentioned, the upper panel can be curved perpendicular to the corrugation; furthermore, the lower table could also be curved.
The invention thus creates a robust, self-supporting, flexurally and torsionally rigid plate, which is prefabricated and easy to transport, with additional reinforcements being achieved in the area of the connection points in the plate bond.
