Description

 EMI1.1

If insects or butterflies are to be transported, the body of the same is held in place by pins attached to the side. Since the pins are very elastic, the security of the fastening is not very great and the body of the sending insect can rub against the pins.

A safe holding of the body of beetles or butterflies to be shipped is now ensured by the clamping needle designed according to the present invention, which is characterized in that the needle is fork-shaped. Since the two needle tines are firmly connected to each other, only one tine can move while the other tine is carried along and is therefore prevented from injuring or tearing the insect's body. In order to be able to easily insert the needle and take it out again, it is provided with a suitable handle on the connecting webs of the prongs.

Instead of two prongs, the needle can optionally also have several prongs.

In the drawing, such a needle is shown in an exemplary embodiment in a view.

The two needle prongs a are connected to one another by a web b and there is a handle c on this web so that the needle can be easily handled.
