Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein hauptsächlich für Schreib-und Zeichenzwecke verwendbarer Tisch, an welchem ein Deckteil durch Parallellenker derart angegliedert ist, dass derselbe nicht allein auf den Tisch aufgesetzt werden kann, um als Abschlussdecke zu dienen, sondern auch stets in horizontaler Lage bleibend aus der Schliessstellung so weit geschwungen werden kann, dass er eine Verlängerung der Tischoberfläche bildet, wobei die jeweils zur Verfügung stehende oberste Fläche sowohl bei überdecktem, als auch bei verlängertem Tisch in gleicher Höhe bezw. in gleichem Abstand vom Fussboden liegt.
Um dies zu erreichen, sind die Parallellenker zu Winkelhebeln mit drei Gelenkzapfen ausgebildet, von denen der eine in dem feststehenden Fussteil, der zweite an dem von letzterem gesonderten Tischkörper und der dritte in dem beweglichen Deckteil gelagert ist, so dass beim Verschwenken des letzteren aus der Schliessstellung zwecks Verlängerung der Tischfläche der Tischkörper um die Höhe des Deckteiles gehoben und beim Zurückschwenken desselben um das gleiche Stück wieder gesenkt wird.
Beiliegende Zeichnung veranschaulicht eine Ausführungsform eines der Erfindung gemäss eingerichteten Schreibtisches in der Seitenansicht bei aufgesetztem Deckteil (Fig. 1) und bei ausgeschwungenem Deckteil (Fig. 2). Der in vorliegendem Fall für Schreibzwecke gebaute Tisch besteht aus dem eigentlichen Tischkörper a, dem Unter-oder Fussteil b und aus dem Deckteil c. Diese drei Teile sind an jeder Seite des Schreibtisches durch Parallellenker d d untereinander verbunden und liegen bei der Stellung (Fig. 1) übereinander. Die zu Winkelhebeln ausgebildeten Lenker d d sind um die in dem festen Fussteil b gelagert.''. ! Bolzene drehbar und erfassen die Tischteile a und c mittels der Gelenkbolzen 2 bezw. 3.
Bei der Stellung (Fig. 1) liegen die Bolzen 1 und 2 in einer Horizontalebene und finden, um ein vollständiges Anliegen der Teile a und b zu ermöglichen, in an der Oberseite des Fussteiles b und an der Unterseite des Tischkörpers a vorgesehenen Vertiefungen/Aufnahme.

Bei diesem Zurückschwenken senkt sich der Tischkörper a wieder bis zum Fussteil b herab, so dass die Oberfläche des Deckteiles c in gleicher Höhe vom Fussboden ist, wie bei der Stellung (Fig. 2) die Oberfläche des verdoppelten Tisches a. Dieser Deckteil c kann daher auch in der Stellung Fig. 1 in derselben Weise wie früher der eigentliche Tisch a verwendet werden.
Der in der Schliessstellung gegebenenfalls sperrbare Deckteil c kann bei dieser Stellung eine Sperrvorrichtung i bekannter Art betätigen, welche die Schubladen i des Schreibtisches sichert, so lange der Deckteil c auf dem Tisch a aufliegt.
