an intermediate space --14-- formed between the drawn part --1-- and the shoulder part --2--
Collect lubricant, the elastic displacement of the shoulder part-2-leading to a pumping action which contributes to the lubricant that the carrying or. Drawing part-1-supplied and a lubricant film is continuously maintained.
The type of strength of the spring --4-- is selected depending on the forces that occur when pulling, the pulling speed, the toughness of the material of the pipe to be pulled, etc.
Instead of the snap ring --6--, a retaining nut, not shown, can be used as a retaining means for the shoulder part --2-- on the support bolt, which is attached to the one facing away from the drawn part l
The end of the support bolt --3-- can be screwed on. In order to prevent the retaining nut from coming loose on its own during the pulling process, it can be locked using a second nut.
The use of a retaining nut has the advantage that through more or less distance
Screwing in this nut, the axial width of the space-14- and / or the preload of the spring --4-- is adjustable.
The drawn part-l-shown in Fig. 1 has a cylindrical shape and has on its free
At the end of a conventional circular cutting edge --16--, followed by a bevel --7a--. In order to avoid the notch effect, which is disadvantageous in such a cutting edge, the cutting edge is designed according to the invention in such a way that it describes a curve on the circumference of the drawn part, at least one section of which runs inclined to the drawing mandrel axis --25 -. In this way, the cutting edge can be optimally adapted to the respective drawing conditions. An embodiment with a wave-shaped cutting edge --18-- and a correspondingly adapted bevel --7b-- is shown in FIG.
In order to prevent the notch effect even more reliably, it is advisable to make the bevel --7b - relatively flat. For the angle between the bevel --7b-- and the mandrel axis --25--, values between 5 and 300 have proven to be effective. From this interval, angle values in the range from 10 to 200 have proven to be particularly favorable.
The shoulder part --2-- is pushed onto the support bolt --3-- with an exact fit, so that there is a tight sliding fit between the support bolt --3-- and the shoulder part --2-- and no lubricant is between the support bolt --3 - and shoulder part --2-- can escape. This is important for building up a sufficiently high lubricant pressure in the space --14--.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, the shoulder part --2 - is exchangeable, creating a universal mandrel. Drawing part --1-- and support bolts --3-- can be used for a large number of pulls, with the shoulder part --2-- the initial dimensions of the die --10-- and the inner diameter and wall thickness of the to pulling pipe --12-- can be adjusted. The two-part design of the drawing mandrel enables the shoulder part --2-- to be made from less valuable material than the drawn part -l-, since it is less stressed than the latter. So far, however, it has been customary to also make the shoulder part from high-quality material.
The drawing mandrel shown in FIG. 1 but provided with a cutting edge according to the invention (for example cutting edge - -18--) can of course be subjected to many modifications. The fact that the shoulder part --2-- is mirror-symmetrical to a central plane --28- bisecting its axial extension and therefore parts --2a and 2b - are the same, it is possible to double the service life by simply turning it over, because only the front half is loaded.
The shoulder part --2-- can also consist of several ring-shaped sections, with high-quality material at specially stressed points, in particular at the point where the inner pipe wall is supported on the shoulder part, the so-called work zone --22-- of the shoulder part cheap or simple material is used in the less polluted areas. This applies especially to large mandrel diameters. A very special advantage is that at least for sections of such shoulder parts materials can be used that were previously considered inapplicable for mandrels, such as. B. plastic body, hard rubber, hardwood, plastic layer material, hard porcelain, u. a. m. Of particular advantage is a material that supports the lubrication during use, which z.
B. is the case with sintered material.
