1. The invention has set itself the task of improving the known methods and also showing hidden contamination with greater certainty. The inventive device for
Investigation of the contamination of liquids, consisting of optical elements such as light sources, lenses, diaphragms, polarizers, measuring containers, analyzers and photoelectric measuring devices, is essentially characterized by at least two measuring points with devices that set the measuring container in rotation a turntable, which are arranged so that the transparent container containing the liquid to be examined passes through each measuring point,

wherein the measuring containers stand still during the measurement in a manner known per se and each device which is arranged at the individual measuring points and which rotates the individual measuring containers alternately clockwise and counterclockwise. This arrangement of at least two measuring points results in a significantly increased probability of finding "hidden" contaminants. Because the devices that set the individual measuring containers in rotation are alternately clockwise and counterclockwise, impurities adhering to the inside of the container containing the liquid to be measured are often detached and are then accessible for reliable registration.

The device according to the invention can advantageously be used for the automatic checking of ampoules with medicinal products, in particular injection solutions, with an electromagnet being assigned to each measuring point on the turntable for the fully automatic elimination of ampoules recognized as contaminated, which controls the ejection of the measured containers into two collecting boxes. It can be ejected in a simple manner via a flap through which the measured ampoule is directed into a collecting box for pure ampoules and a collecting box for contaminated ampoules.

     PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for examining the contamination of liquids, consisting of optical elements such as light sources, lenses, diaphragms, polarizers, measuring containers, analyzers and photoelectric measuring devices, characterized by at least two measuring points with devices that set the measuring containers in rotation on a turntable, which are arranged in this way that the transparent container containing the liquid to be examined passes through each measuring point, whereby the measuring containers stand still during the measurement in a manner known per se and each device which is arranged at the individual measuring points and which sets the individual measuring containers in rotation are alternately clockwise and counterclockwise.
