The invention relates to a ringing device with a bell and a counter pendulum.
By swinging a heavy bell, considerable forces are exerted on the bell chair, which can damage the building in which the bell is hung. Therefore, a counter pendulum is already provided in a conventional ringing system, which carries out an oscillation opposite to the bell and thereby compensates for the forces exerted by the bell to the Tell. This known counter pendulum is mounted in the bell chair below the bell to provide the type mentioned, which takes up less space and in which the forces which arise are better compensated for.
According to the invention, this is achieved by a ringing device of the type mentioned at the outset in that the counter-pendulum, seen in the direction of the plane of vibration of the bell, has pendulum elements arranged to the left and right of the bell.
Advantageously, the vibration axes of the bell and the counter pendulum coincide. The forces of the bell and the counter pendulum therefore do not compensate in the bell chair, as in the previously known counter pendulum loudness device, but in the same axis.
Further advantages and details of the invention are explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In this the single figure shows a schematic side view of the ringing device according to the invention, seen in the direction of the plane of vibration of the bell.
The bell 1 is rotatably supported via an axis 2 in bearings 4 rigidly connected to the bell chair 3. In order to compensate for the forces transmitted from the oscillating bell 1 to the bell chair 3, a counter pendulum 5 swinging opposite to the bell is provided. The counter pendulum 5 has pendulum elements 6, 7, which are seen in the side view of FIG

In bearings 14 on the axis 2, which is rigidly connected to the bell 1, pivoted. The two pendulum elements 6, 7 are connected via a frame part 8, so that the counter pendulum 5 overall has a U-shape that surrounds the bell 1 on the outside.
For driving the bell 1 and the counter pendulum 5 in the same way, a correspondingly controlled drive motor 9 and a reversing gear 10 are provided which drive the drive wheels 11, 12 of the bell and the counter pendulum in the same way.
In another exemplary embodiment, provision could also be made to drive only one of the drive wheels 11, 12 by a motor and to provide a reversing gear between the drive wheels 11 and 12.
In order to achieve the best possible compensation of the force, the bell and the counter pendulum have approximately the same weight.
