The shut-off of the gas during the Umstouerna is done by the plate A, which is lowered or raised with the help of the lever X and thereby either plunges into the water, accomplishes the Gaaabsohluss or opens it.
The manipulation is carried out in the following order: First the gas supply is shut off, then reversed and finally the Gaa valve is opened again.
The loss of gas when reversing is insignificant due to the small volume of the chambers.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Gas reversing valve for regenerative firing, in which two balancing suspended, double-shell valves are alternately moved up and down in a housing divided by a partition, which close once at the bottom and once at the top, characterized in that the axis of rotation for the valve movement within the housing in a water trough is arranged, which enables the supply of all seals with water.
