Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a cassette for soundproof walls, which is composed of two folded metal sheets like a box, which are sound-absorbing and have a perforated front wall directed towards the noise source, a soundproof rear wall and an absorption space partially filled with sound-absorbing material to achieve a high degree of absorption, the soft Sound-absorbing material is held by spacers.

To keep annoying noises, such as traffic noise on busy streets, you are forced to put up noise barriers. These consist of a load-bearing profile frame, which is covered with noise insulation panels. Since most of the sound-absorbing media, such as mineral wool, etc. Like., do not have a sufficiently firm consistency to be laid directly as panels, they are arranged in cassettes and have to be supported. In a known construction made of plastic boxes, these mats are held in place by partitions, which requires a lot of material and a more complicated manufacturing process.

According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that the spacers are designed like clasps and are held in place in the cassette construction by fastening means such as rivets and screws or the like, or by snapping behind specially designed noses or projections.

The object of the invention is shown in the drawings, for example. 1 shows a cross section through a cassette-like box, while FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A.

As can be seen from the drawings, a box made of folded sheet metal, which is preferably closed by a perforated cover - 2 - facing the noise source, contains an insulation board - 3 -, which either rests against the cover side and through Clamp - 7 - is held or is at a distance from the cover and is supported on both sides by clamps - 4 or 6 -.

It then rests on a sunk-in rib - 9 - on the narrow sides of the tin box
 EMI1.1
Made of pressed sheet metal and have a rib --5-- for reinforcement. They are arranged in the corresponding number in the box and held in place by fastening means such as rivets, screws or the like or by snapping behind specially designed lugs or projections in the cassette construction, which is preferably made of corrosion-resistant material such as aluminum.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1.Cassette for soundproof walls, which is composed of two folded metal sheets like a box, which are sound-absorbing and to achieve a high degree of absorption have a perforated front wall facing the noise source, a soundproof back wall and an absorption space partially filled with sound-absorbing material, with the soft sound-absorbing material through Spacer is held,
 EMI1.2
Fastening means, such as rivets and screws or the like, or by snapping into place behind specially designed lugs or projections are held in the cassette construction.
