   Endlich wird nach der englischen Patentschrift ein Rohpapier mit barytierter Oberfläche verlangt, während nach der Erfindung das Rohpapier nicht barytiert werden soll, da dadurch der Zweck der Erfindung illusorisch würde, indem in diesem Falle die Wasserfarben nicht in den Papierfilz eindringen würden. 



   In der Einleitung des D. R. P. Nr. 96003 wird nur zur scharfen Abgrenzung da von gesprochen, dass es bekannt war, die Gelatinemulsion auf ein möglichst rauhes Papier aufzutragen. Rauh sind geleimte Papiere auch, während nach vorliegender Erfindung rohes und ungeleimtes Papier verwendet zu werden hat. Wohl heisst es dort weiter, dass dieses"rauhe Papier keine weiters präparierte Schicht, wie beispielsweise Baryt als Unterlage für die Emulsion hatte". Das steht jedoch nicht im Gegensatz zu geleimt oder ungeleimt, denn es ist eine jedem Fachmanne gelänge Tatsache,   dass   man seit jeher immer geleimte Papiere verwendete, die man mit Überzugsschichten versah, deren eine (Baryt) dort ausdrücklich genannt ist.

   Das heisst mit anderen Worten, dass es bekannt war, rauhes, aber geleimtes Papier ohne weiteren Überzug, also insbesondere ohne Barytschichte zu verwenden.

   In other words, this means that it was known to use rough but glued paper without a further coating, i.e. in particular without a baryta layer.
