Menge in Anwendung bringen würde.

Process for the disinfection of drinking and mineral water using calcium or magnesium superoxide.
EMI1.1
Up to the present day it has not yet been possible to obtain drinking water of any origin, provided that its chemical composition is suitable for drinking, e.g. B. to sterilize water from open or covered wells, lakes, ponds, springs, streams or other public watercourses by proper means and so completely that their consumption poses no danger to the human or animal organism, in particular no infection by germs in the following ' Has.
The well-known regulation of boiling the water for a long time is just as impractical in many cases as the use of bacterial nitrides and the use of fast-acting chemical processes, for example the use of bromine and ammonia, chlorinated lime, sodium bisulfate or vitriol, etc. in a much higher degree thorough professional exercise. The production of sterile mineral water has not yet been possible at all because the technology of the previous manufacturing processes did not allow bacteria to penetrate the water /. u u'r- prevent, and because the sterilization methods listed are not used for mineral water
EMI1.2
The present process is intended to remove this surely considerable deficit in a simple, inexpensive and completely reliable manner. The process consists in adding a comparatively small, but under all circumstances sufficient, amount of superoxides whose elements have no toxic or otherwise harmful effects and whose handling can be safely entrusted to everyone. Only the super oxides of calcium and magnesium meet the requirements mentioned. You decompose these bodies in the water, which is to be freed from its germ content, with suitable acids or acidic substances, such as. B.
Carbonic acid, acetic acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid, acidic carbonates, acidic tartrates, etc., with hydrogen peroxide developing on the one hand. which effects the sterilization by consuming it itself, while on the other hand calcium and magnesium salts are formed, the absorption of which in the organism is not only harmless, but on the contrary has a beneficial effect.
This Sterilisierui is an essential and previously unknown advantage. procedure

Oxide or active oxygen, only in the water itself is formed and in the state of origin a completely different course, above all a much more powerful sterilizing one
Exert effect as if, for example, finished hydrogen peroxide in equivalent
Amount would apply. On the one hand, this has the consequence that the active oxygen contained in the superoxide is almost completely consumed immediately; on the other hand, one gets by with significantly smaller amounts of effective oxygen from the start than when using ready-made hydrogen peroxide.
The amounts of hydrogen peroxide remaining in the water after the sterilization has been completed are so extremely small that they neither affect the taste of the water nor its suitability for pleasure purposes in the least; so it is not necessary to carry these leftovers through

In practice, the ancestor is extremely easy. If normal well, stream or river water is to be sterilized, an approximately measured amount of it is mixed with a mixture of calcium or magnesium peroxide and a solid acid or acidic substance, prepared in pill or powder form. The application of the sterilizing mixture is then exactly the same as that of the known effervescent powder.
The water becomes sterile in the course of a minute and is then immediately ready to be enjoyed.
In the production of artificial mineral water, it is advisable to first put the peroxides of calcium and magnesium or mixtures thereof with other suitable substances (salts, acids) in the bottles and then pull the carbon dioxide on them.

is converted, it not only sterilizes the water but also the entire inside of the bottle. Depending on the circumstances, the peroxides can be dissolved in the mixing kettle and the sterile water can be poured onto the well-cleaned and sterilized bottles.
