of the thread, regardless of the size of the bobbin and the speed at which the thread is wound onto the various parts of the bobbin. The size of the tension depends on the effective length of the double rods D and D '.
The device is valuable for bobbins with a single thread, but gains particular significance for bobbins with multiple threads; because in this case each of the threads can independently experience a tension control, so that even with bobbins with several thread layers, each individual thread has a completely uniform tension throughout. In the present case it is only necessary to provide a special tension compensation device for each individual thread of a bobbin and to pull off each thread from a separate loop.
In order to bring about a safe shutdown of the bobbin drive when a thread is stuck or in the event of a thread breakage, the tension compensation device, as is also already known, is connected to a device which causes this shutdown, which is not the subject of the present invention and which is only for the better below Understanding of

This storage device has a curved rod S, which is connected by a screw T to a plate T, which in turn connects to a second rod S1. This rod SI penetrating into the interior of the box M is screwed onto a rail U, so that when this rail U is displaced, the rod SI and the rod 8 are carried along. The latter can also be adjusted within certain limits with the help of the Tel screw.
A two-armed lever V, which can swing out by V1 and whose upper end is in an articulated connection with a rod Y, is connected in an articulated manner to the rail 1 '. A Rod - Angled Arm X1. Y ends in the area of the thread guide rod D. A spring Y tries to hold the two-armed lever F with the rod X in the position shown in FIG. 2 with full lines. The rail U receives the downwardly curved free end of a rod Z, the other end of which is articulated to a rod a, in a recess. The latter can swing out about pin b and has in its center a loop a1, in which the hook-shaped end of a rod c that can swing out about pin c1 engages.
The rods X and Z are guided by a guide d as they move.
The bent free end of the rod S engages in the shape of a hook into an angle piece c which can swing out about pin e1 and on which the rod f of the release lever g usually rests.
The release lever acts in the usual way by releasing the coil support plate 11 with the aid of its pin g1 as soon as the rod / its support on the angle piece e loses and into the in

If the thread guide lever D moves in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1, the work proceeds regularly. provided that the deflection of rod D does not exceed a certain limit. However, if this limit of deflection by the rod 1) is exceeded due to excessive thread tension, which could result in the thread breaking, then the rod D hits the bent arm \ 1 of the rod X and pushes the two-armed lever r into the position shown in Fig 3 Location shown in dotted lines.
The rail U and the rod S are displaced in the direction of the arrow drawn, whereby the angle e can swing out into the dotted position shown in FIG. 1 and the rod / releases its support

use. You can easily make the device so that when a thread breakage occurs, the machine is automatically switched off.
For this purpose it is only necessary that a part protruding from the tension compensation device hits a suitable ratchet mechanism, which causes the machine to disengage and shut down.
