  Entsprechend der Erhöhung des Widerstandes in der Feldwicklung der   Zusatzmaschine   vormindert sich einerseits die Spannung in dem Erregerstromkreise 7, 8 und die des Wechselstromerzeugers, andererseits die Anziehungskraft der Solenoide 17, 19. Die Kontakte   13,   14 trennen sich, während der Kontakt 26 durch die Spule 23 geschlossen wird und den Widerstand 27 kurzschliesst. Es ist hienach klar, dass durch geeignete Abmessungen des Widerstandes 27 erreicht werden kann, dass die elektromotorische Kraft der Zusatzmaschine derart verändert wird, dass die Spannung der Wechselstromerzeuger 2 bzw. 3 bei Belastungsschwankungen konstant bleibt,   ohne dass   die Erregung der Erregermaschine verändert werden braucht.
