The invention relates to a movable lifting platform, the platform of which can be moved along the spindle by means of a traveling nut which engages in a drivable, essentially vertically arranged threaded spindle and is secured against rotation, with longitudinal guides for the platform being provided parallel to the spindle axis.
From the Swiss patent specification No. 437700 a lifting platform was known, the platform of which can be moved up and down by a threaded spindle which can be set in rotation and a traveling nut secured against rotation which can be moved along the spindle. To guide the platform, there are longitudinal guides that extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the spindle. The known is a construction that can be used to lift cars. In the known arrangement, the longitudinal guides are formed by uprights which are essentially square in cross section and which are enclosed on three of their sides by corresponding guide surfaces of the lifting platform, with friction linings being inserted between the guide and the platform. The whole construction is relatively complex.
The invention is based on the object of creating a lifting platform which is simpler than known and therefore cheaper to manufacture and which ensures a high degree of operational safety. This is achieved with a lifting platform of the type mentioned above when, according to the invention, especially in lifting platforms used to move people up and down in front of shelves, the spindle including the traveling nut is mounted inside a column, which at the same time forms the longitudinal guide of the platform, the column has a slot extending in the direction of the spindle axis through which a guide bolt connecting the platform, which optionally carries the operating switch for the reversible rotary drive of the spindle in a known manner, protrudes with the traveling nut and securing the traveling nut against rotation.
A device designed according to the invention can also be used in place of floor or cellar stairs. In the lifting platform designed according to the invention, the locking of the nut (radially), the securing of the platform platform against rotation and the driving of the platform platform when the nut slides up and down take place at the same time.
In this way, the guide and the protective device for the spindle are formed by the same element, which at the same time prevents contact with the rotating spindle from the outside and thus any risk of injury, which cannot be ruled out with exposed spindles. Due to the special type of connection between the platform and the traveling nut, the radial locking of the nut and platform is achieved at the same time. This is a very particularly simple and therefore economical embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
In a further development of the invention, the platform is provided with a guide which surrounds the column and rests on the outer jacket of the column. This embodiment enables easy access and control of the guide. The guide provided on the platform is designed as a sliding sleeve in a further embodiment according to the invention.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
