Werden Fahrleitungen elektrischer Bahnen an Tragdrähten aufgehängt, die auf Auslegern befestigt sind, so können die Ausleger unabhängig voneinander durch Winddruck stark bewegt werden, da der Tragdraht wegen seines verhältnismässig grossen Durchhanges keine Verspannung zwischen den Auslegern bewirkt. Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung wird diese Verspannung durch Hilfsdrähto erzielt, die einerseits mit dem Ausleger und andererseits mit tiefer als die Aufhängepunkte des Tragdrahtes liegenden Punkten des letzteren verbunden sind.
Die Zeichnung stellt eine Fahrleitung dar, welche die Kennzeichen der Erfindung besitzt.
Die Fahrleitung a ist mittels der Zwischendrähte b an dem Tragdraht c aufgehängt, der auf den Auslegern d, d gelagert ist. e, e sind die an den Tragdraht und an die Ausleger angreifenden Hilfsdrähte. Es ist ohne weiteres ersichtlich, dass diese Ililfsdrähte in Verbindung mit den mittleren Teilen der Tragdrähte eine wirksamne Vorspannung der Ausleger untereinander bewirken.
