Die Erfindung betrifft ein Bügeleisen mit einer Sohle, einer Haube und einem durch Pressen hergestellten Kunststoffhandgriff, der einstückig ausgebildet ist.
Die Betriebssicherheit, der Aufwand beim Zusammenbau und die einfache Bedienung eines solchermassen ausgebildeten Bügeleisens sollen nun gemäss dem Ziel der Erfindung optimiert werden.
Dieses Ziel wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch erreicht, dass zwischen der Haube und dem Griff eine Abdeckplatte vorgesehen ist, die an ihrer Vorderseite eine stegartige, an die Nase des Handgriffes anliegende Verlängerung aufweist, und mit dem als Griffwurzel ausgebildeten Abschnitt des Handgriffes, diesen zumindest teilweise überdeckend, verbindbar ist.
Durch diese Ausbildung des Bügeleisens wird eine die Finger rundum umgebende Grifföffnung gebildet, wodurch ein Abrutschen der Hand beim Bügeln nach vorne verhindert und somit eine sichere Handhabung ermöglicht wird. Weiters nimmt bei einem von oben auf den Griff ausgeübten Druck die stegartige Verlängerung diesen Druck teilweise auf und stützt den Griff ab. Durch die Vorsehung einer Abdeckplatte und deren Befestigung an der Griffwurzel wird ein einfacher Zusammenbau des Bügeleisens ermöglicht und gleichzeitig die sich im Inneren der Griffwurzel befindlichen elektrischen Anschlüsse abgedeckt, wodurch auch die Betriebssicherheit erhöht wird.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemässen Bügeleisens ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Befestigung der Abdeckplatte an der Griffwurzel mittels Steckverbindungen erfolgt. Bei der Montage des Bügeleisens ist es notwendig, die Abdeckplatte an der Griffwurzel des Handgriffes zu befestigen. Gleichzeitig ist zu beachten, dass die stegartige Verlängerung der Abdeckplatte an der vorgesehenen Stelle des Handgriffes zum Anliegen kommt. Um nun eine exakte Anlage der stegartigen Verlängerung am Griff zu erreichen und die Montage ohne Verklemmen bzw. Verspreizen der relativ gegeneinander bewegten Teile (Verlängerung, Griffnase) rasch durchführen zu können, ist es vorteilhaft, wenn die Gegeneinanderbewegung der Abdeckplatte und der Griffwurzel geführt erfolgt.
Diese Führung kann neben einer gleichzeitig ermöglichten einfachen Montage des kompakten Handgriffes durch die angeführten Steckverbindungen sicher gewährleistet werden.
Gerade da der Handgriff aus Kunststoff hergestellt ist, ist es möglich, durch genau ausgeführte Steckverbindungen eine exakte Verbindung bzw. Anlage von Handgriff und stegartiger Verlängerung zu erreichen.
Die Erfindung wird nun an Hand der Zeichnung näher erläutert, die ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäss ausgebildeten Bügeleisens teilweise im Schnitt zeigt.

Der Kunststoff für die Abdeckplatte--16wird daher eine schlechtere Wärmeleitfähigkeit aufweisen, als der Kunststoff des Handgriffes --1--.
Der geschlossene Handgriff des Bügeleisens--l--wird dadurch gebildet, dass die Abdeckplatte--16an ihrer Vorderseite eine stegartige Verlängerung --20-- aufweist, die im montierten Zustand des Bügeleisens
