Bei Benützung dieser Wäscheklammern ergibt sich jedoch der Übelstand, dass die zu   trocknende Witsche   über die Leine gelegt werden muss, wobei ein Beschmutzen der Wäsche durch die Leine erfolgen kann. 



   Nach vorliegender Erfindung, welche in der Zeichnung in einer   Ausführungsform   dargestellt ist, wird dieser Übelstand vermieden. 



   Zu diesem Zwecke sind an den Innenflächen der beiden Holzteile   A,   B zwischen den gegebenenfalls mit Einkerbungen versehenen Klemmflächen e, f und den das Gelenk bildenden bogenförmigen Fortsätzen a, b Vertiefungen g, h vorgesehen, welche für die Leine Platz schaffen. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Klammern zu verwenden, ohne die Leine mit der Wäsche zwischen bei den Klemmflächen einklemmen zu müssen.
