Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Satzbrottcrn, wo- durch Satzbrettcr erhalten werden, die selbst unter dem Einflusse von Feuchtigkeit und Wärme sich nicht verziehen und keine Risse entstehen lassen, so dass die auf ihnen aufbewahrten Drucksätze unter allen Umständen vor Verstauben und Beschädigungen geschützt sind.
Die bisher bekannt gewordenen Satzbretter, die bestimmt sind, in Druckereien die für die spätere nochmalige Benutzung bereit zu haltenden abgelegten Drucksätxe vor Verschmutzen und Beschädigen zu schlitzen, können ihrer Zweckbestimmung nur unzulänglich nachkommen, weil sie fast ausschliesslich aus einer Deckplatte und angeleimten oder angeschraubten
