Holding device for point-by-point fastening of pipe reels
The attachment of pipe coils, in particular variometer coils, e.g. B. in long-wave transmission systems, takes place in a known manner at at least two in alignment points of the coil. The coil is conventionally made of copper tubing and the brass holding parts are usually directly brazed to the copper tubing of the coil. The holding parts, mostly brass profile strips, are in turn z. B. attached to a ceramic rod by means of clamps. The type of fastening of a pipe reel described, in which the holding parts are connected to the pipe reel by brazing, is rather cumbersome, since the soldering points usually have to be mechanically treated after the brazing is complete.
For example, the excess solder adhering to the copper pipe is removed by grinding and the surface of the copper pipe in the vicinity of the soldering point is reworked by sanding and polishing. The unavoidable heating to which the pipe coil is exposed during brazing can lead to warping of the pipe coil under certain circumstances, but in any case affects the technological properties of the copper pipe, such as B. its strength, which is very unfavorable in variometer coils, in which the exact observance of the mass is of crucial importance.
The invention relates to a holding device for the point-wise fastening of pipe coils that are exposed to strong thermal expansion, in particular variometer coils, which allows a much simpler fastening. Furthermore, the strength of the copper pipe of the pipe coil is not changed, since the copper pipe does not have to be heated when using the holding device according to the invention.
The holding device according to the invention is based on holding parts with angled tabs which engage opposite one another in openings of the tube forming the winding and press this from the inside against at least one counter bearing provided on one of the holding parts and holding the tube from the outside.
From the US Pat. No. 2,842,281, holding parts with angled tabs in electrical junction boxes which can be inserted into an opening in the wall are known which, when the socket is fully inserted, encompass the wall at the edge of the opening with the angled tabs.
Furthermore, a holding device for fastening a part to a supporting frame is known from British Patent No. 472, 150, the supporting frame being provided with holes into which the holding parts with mutually resilient, hook-shaped locking parts can be inserted and in the inserted position by further Springs are secured against falling out.
The holding parts of the holding device according to the invention that engage opposite one another in openings of the pipe only spring within narrow limits and produce a force-fit fit in the position of use. This is achieved according to the invention in that two individual L-shaped holding parts that can be screwed together are provided, which together after the Inserting your angled tabs into the opening of the pipe in the screwed state form a T-piece, the tabs inserted parallel to the pipe axis being longer than the diameter

the opening and for the purpose of achieving a positive fit of the holding parts are angled by a little more than 90 before insertion into the opening.
An embodiment of the holding device according to the invention is shown in the drawings.
1, 2 and 3 show the holding parts according to the invention - 1 - in three successive phases when connected to a pipe reel - 2 -. One turn of the pipe coil --2-- is partially shown in the drawings. The pipe reel --2-- has at each connection point with two holding parts-l-a bore-3--, which is arranged on the inside of its lateral surface. Fig. 4 of the drawings shows an axonometric representation of the holding part-l-with tabs -4- and hole -7- for receiving the fastening screw -5-. The holding part - 1-- has two counter-bearings designed in the form of wedge-shaped projections, attached to both sides of the flap-4

The above-mentioned bending of the tabs --4-- of the holding parts-l-before insertion helps generate a sufficiently high pressure by more than 900, since they are resiliently bent back to about 900 after assembly.
The holding device according to the invention is of course not limited to the fastening of tubular reels, but can be used for fastening bodies with a surface that is only accessible on one side, in particular for hollow bodies of any kind.
