   Die Erfindung bringt folgende Vorteile mit sich. Zunächst wird für die Horizontalaussteifung eines Gebäudes, gleichgültig welcher Grösse, praktisch keine Konstruktionshöhe benötigt. Weiters erfordert die Montage der Blechstreifen an der Baustelle einen nur sehr geringen Arbeitsaufwand. Dadurch ergibt sich eine sofortige Stabilität des Gebäudes unmittelbar nach dem Aufrichten der Wände und die Möglichkeit einer raschen Dacheindeckung zum Schutze des Gebäudes gegen Niederschläge. Ferner bringt die Länge der Diagonalverspannung keine Schwierigkeiten mit sich, da die Stahlblechstreifen gerollt transportiert werden können. Auch ist der Kostenaufwand für Material und Arbeit, wesentlich geringer als für eine herkömmliche Art der Horizontalaussteifung gleicher Wirksamkeit.

   Schliesslich sind die Abmessungen der Stahlblechstreifen hinsichtlich Breite und Dicke sowie der Nägel, leicht zu errechnen. Dadurch kann, insbesondere im Holzfertigbau, leicht ein Verlegungsschema für die Blechstreifen aufgestellt werden   u. dgl. m.

   The invention has the following advantages. First of all, practically no structural height is required for the horizontal bracing of a building, regardless of its size. Furthermore, the assembly of the metal strips on the construction site requires very little work. This results in an immediate stability of the building immediately after erecting the walls and the possibility of a quick roof covering to protect the building against precipitation. Furthermore, the length of the diagonal bracing does not cause any difficulties, since the sheet steel strips can be transported rolled. The cost of material and labor is also significantly lower than for a conventional type of horizontal reinforcement with the same effectiveness.

   Finally, the dimensions of the sheet steel strips in terms of width and thickness as well as the nails are easy to calculate. As a result, a layout scheme for the sheet metal strips can easily be set up u, especially in prefabricated wood construction. like m.
